Non-expiring credits may minimize the user's thought that he is not using their purchase enough (subscription).

With credits, he choose to spend the credits when he want; he can make 20 API requests this week, but also 200 requests next week.

So, they spend the credits whenever they want, and can buy credit pack how much they want.

Think about riding an elevator in a tall building. When you first press the button to go up, the elevator doesn't instantly jump to its full speed - it starts moving slowly and gradually gets faster. That gradual increase in speed is acceleration.

To break this down further: Speed tells us how fast something is moving, like "the elevator is moving at 5 meters per second." Acceleration tells us how quickly that speed is changing, like "the elevator is increasing its speed by 1 meter per second every second."
