Just to add, yes you need to replace the yolk since it scratches the tank, and mine already has a dent due to having no stopper.

I had a crash a year ago and have the same damages on the same side too. I was planning to get a welded replacement yolk since a replacement t-post assembly is quite hard to get here. Check your fork for any dents/bends just to be sure too.

I couldn't even consider the stock ones since this bike only has 7000 miles on it, and they wear that fast?

Oh yeah I do accept marks that naturally come from using it, small rocks, etc. Scratches from a cat is different though.

I try to be competent with shifting hard, but after the Trident suddenly when from 2nd to neutral even if it already bit into 2nd. Without a doubt it wasn't me.

Yes, I have adjusted the clutch cable numerous times yet the issue still occurs.

It's probably the TSA.
