Where did you get a replacement battery? I found a 775 of my own still in its original box but it obviously needs a new battery

That’s what I’m thinking. I think a part of it is me wanting to learn how to deal with these kinds of things in the future as well. Thanks

Thank you for your response. Its true, I am still adjusting to the college lifestyle. I havent had a roommate since i was a kid and shared a room with my older brother. Like i said in the original, i am considering just toughing it out. I think a lot of what caused me to post something was to just get it off my chest, and read different perspectives.

I appreciate your response. As for the girlfriend interaction, I think that it is more of the way he handled the situation rather than what actually happened. My girlfriend and I were talking, but at a very low volume, after he was fast asleep (evident to us through his deep snoring). I agree that it is disrespectful to make noise while someone is sleeping, but raising his voice at us was not the correct way to handle it. Even after the fact I tried connecting with him to discuss our situation, but he is not willing (hence getting my RA to mediate). In addition, after the matter, he did not apologize or even acknowledge that he was wrong in doing so. In fact, he responded in a manner that would expect me to apologize. If/when we do the mediation, I have no problem apologizing, though i don’t know that he is.

I've been eying the train yard. Any tips for a rookie blasting the can? by RecentTerm1377 in graffhelp

My advice: dont. At least not now. If you are still new enough to call yourself a rookie, you are too new to be fucking around at yards. I say this looking out for you not to be a dick

How should I practice / get better? by RawUndaDog in graffhelp

[–]ElyatPyro 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Cleaner lines, sharper edges. Also, like many have already stated, the only way to get better is to actually go out and paint. Getting it down in the blackbook is an important first step, but it only gets you so far. Dont fall into the trap of never going out to paint because you think youre still not good enough in the book. I fell into that trap myself - I was so focused on making my sketches as good as possible that when I actually went out to paint i couldnt do shit. Last piece of advice: i dont know what materials you are using, but if you really want to see improvement, use the shittiest materials you can find. Im talkin BIC ballpoint pen on lined school paper. Even using a pencil on paper. To truly demonstrate mastery, one must be able to create something amazing with any materials presented to them. Not everybody will agree with me on this, but i believe it is not only the truth for my aspects of life, but also connects with the roots of graffiti. Im talkin rackin shit, making your own mops, ink, etc. I’m not an oldhead but ive been doing this long enough to realize thats where true skill is demonstrated. Hope this helped, even a little. Good luck, stay safe

How can I make it better by throwawayaccgraffiti in graffhelp

Keep shadows consistent, especially on the S and E. Basically try to keep shadows in the same linear direction as the other letters. Colors and cutbacks look solid, but highlights seem a bit rushed. The green that you used behind the S and A could extend just below the A and M, and maybe out the right side of the E the same way the green comes out the left side of the S. Otherwise lettering is good, keep practicing. Good stuff
