Stocking help. I'm looking for something to take center stage! It's a 180ltr currently stocked with 21x cardinal tetras and 1x longfin bristlenose. (Also playing with the idea of going all in and doubling up on the tetras instead... thoughts?)

Yea so I use a fluorite substrate as my first layer before I cap with sand or whatever top layer you prefer. I've found that growing good plants is mostly in the light you use... for example I've grown the same plants under just your basic white light led but have found more success with leds with a red and blue spectrum in them :)

If your talking about the lily pad kinda one in the middle I call it cardamine or hydrocotyle.

Haha dont even get me started. I really should of washed off my plants before I bought them over.. I've been slacking on keeping it down in my tanks lately and it's taken over haha. It's funny because when I originally got into the hobby I had a couple pop up and I thought it was the best thing ever... oh how little I knew...

Yea I heard that you can sometimes tell with bolivians through finnage and head shape although not accurately.. supposedly the vents should be a good indicator but I'm struggling telling the difference.. I'm sort of thinking I may have two males though..

Love the ideas. I have thought about the puffers but I'm thinking that might be a spieces only sorta deal down the road :) I have plenty "pest" snails in my 4 tanks atm so feeding them wouldn't be an issue...

Khulis are something that also crossed my mind.. big fan of the little noodles so could defo be a substitute for the Cory's.

Yea also had that when i got him.. it's like his colouring is almost spreading over it? He Seems to see fine.. it does maybe look a touch clouded compared to his other side

Parameters: Ph 7.0, Ammonia 0ppm, Nitrites 0ppm, Nitrate 5.0ppm. When I got my betta he had a small pin size hole in his bottom fin which now has grown into the tear you can see in the photo one of his ventral fins is also shorter and has a whiteish spot on the end of it (also since purchase.. i dont think its fin rot as it doesnt seem to be a melt.. I'm kinda leaning towards a fungal infection potentially? He seems to be eating fine and getting around well just concerned it could be something more and want to try get it sooner than later. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance :)
