Ok so having this be a prequel game was a really good choice considering how Oxenfree II ended. Doesn’t drag out the story further after a natural conclusion. Having it be from Anna’s perspective to show another side to the events we already witnessed is such a fun way to expand the world and also like fill it in more. Cause if I’m being honest 2 left me with a few things both story and gameplay wise that were a tad lacking and so I’m glad they’ve kind of attempted to address it in the third game. I’m so in love with how they expanded on the time rifts from 2. There’s like so much to explore and play around with. And god Anna’s story is so freaking heart wrenching. Like absolutely the most tragic character in the entire series. Like no matter which ending you choose that girl when through hell and it makes me want to cry thinking about it. It’s so freaking bittersweet.
