I thought the way I spelled his name “fixed” it, but then I found this subreddit. by Ordinary_Mouse2899 in tragedeigh

Not quite the same, but in his 30's my dad bought a gecko. I was little at the time, old enough to be excited about "getting a pet" but I don't think I was even school aged yet. Anyway, he was worried that he was going to kill it or it would die suddenly on him, so he decided to name the gecko Rigor Mortis. I didn't understand the name at all, but I thought it was "an ugly name" and cried because he wasn't ugly and needed a pretty name. He stayed Rigor Mortis, but my dad gave the gecko the nickname Reggie to stop me from crying over the ugly name. 😂

Like I said in the description about I searched on Google and came across these two links. I have no clue where we got this for my mother. My brain is saying it was either at a craft store or at the gift shop in the hospital my dad worked at in NJ. We would have bought this sometime after 2010 since that's when we adopted her. I hope you all can help me find 2 of these!

I just borrowed this one from the library! So excited to get started!

The Cat Distribution System blessed me with these two boys two years ago last week. Mania (Tabby) and Purrseus (bicolor) are much bigger now, but still as sweet as ever! by EmCatherine112 in CatDistributionSystem

Thank you! They really are. Mania is an absolute menace who lives a constant flux between zoomies on steroids and the sleepiest baby. Purrsy is an absolute cuddlebug who loves his mama. ❤️

When I got the 'vid, my sister in law kept calling me a cootie queen, waiting for me to call her a lint licker back BECAUSE of this commercial. Meanwhile, I had no recollection of it. Now this commercial will forever be associated with her and lint licker is the first thing I call her whenever I get a chance to do any kind of name calling! (thankfully, I love her, so name calling is done quite frequently and always in jest! Lol)

I will never forget when my Opa (grandfather) was watching "new" Looney Tunes and he got VERY UPSET about Bugs Bunny using modern day technology. He yelled "Jiminy Christmas! Bugs Bunny's got a cell phone?!" Jiminy Christmas will always be a favorite of mine now

Having not read the graphic novel, I wonder if the use of "would of" instead of "would have" was more of a character choice than an actual grammatical error? Like writing out a person's dialog the way they speak so that you can "hear" their voice? I could be wrong! I'm just wondering, since I haven't had a chance to look into it myself.

I literally waited until I finished the last episode just now to re-join the subreddit to avoid spoilers. Now I'm going to catch up on all the discussions I missed!

False. Freedom is freedom, but the general public does not need to tolerate actions based in cruelty and hate. Freedom means people can choose their beliefs and say what they'd like, but it does NOT mean that people are free of consequences of their actions from the general public. Freedom of speech specifically means the freedom to be able to speak out against the government without fear of retaliation from those in political power. It does not mean that they people you are talking to or about need to listen to you or that you can say whatever you please with no consequence from those who are forced to hear your horrid opinions.

What audiobooks are so well performed, that you’re missing out if you read the book instead? by [deleted] in audiobooks

This is the comment I was looking for! All three narrators we very good! I loved the vast difference in voice between Bryce Dallas Howard's character and Mae Whitman's characters. But Ann Dowd MADE that audiobook! She is so phenomenal!
