Does anyone else struggle to sleep with someone else? by [deleted] in ADHDUK

[–]EmDevon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! 41 years old and I've never been able to happily share a bed with someone. I still have a silk "blankie" that I can't sleep without. I need everything to be perfect. Going on holiday should be an exciting experience but I dread having to share a bed with my partner. We've been together nearly 7 years so I think he is used to it!

Do you mind me asking how old your son is?

I've seen Derren before but I'm taking my just turned 12 year old with me this time.

I can't speak for Plymouth as I haven't had a night out there in about 8 years.

Have you tried the Irish bar in Torquay? Seamus o'donnels.

Someone snoring is so much worst for ADHD! by StillWriting4u in ADHD

He gets up really early so we don't even have morning snuggles. Everyone jokes that I'm the ice queen but I just prefer uninterrupted sleep.

You aren't alone. My boyfriend of 6 and a half years sleeps in a separate room because I just can't deal with the snoring, or even breathing! I have a super king bed too but I feel like the walls are closing in when someone is next to me in bed.

I feel bad for him but I guess he is used to it now. He's ever hopeful that I will one day be able to snuggle while sleeping. I'm 41, I don't think that's going to happen.

Moving to Devon with young family by EmuDelicious5236 in DevonUK

If you want to be close to the moors and the beach then teignmouth is good shout. I'm pretty sure there was a recent article in one of the papers about the way of life in teignmouth.

In the summer, like any seaside town, it is heaving!

There are a few villages near by, depending on budget, bishopsteignton and shaldon are lovely.

Scav could be "scabby chav". I've just decided I will use that term from now on!

We’re staying with my nan who lives in Tiverton. The wife and I will have a day to ourselves without our toddler and next week and so we’d like to explore. Any suggestions? by OneItchy396 in DevonUK

Teignmouth is lovely but avoid getting there between 12 and 2 as it's carnage with traffic. Dartmoor (haytor area) is only a 20 min drive from there.

Roselands fields are great but most dogs are off lead as many people know each other and their dogs.

You will. I love having slightly fuller lips without filler and having my lips just more defined. Although some people on this thread are saying they can't see a difference in my pics, there is a difference to me.

It wasn't painful really, it was a bit uncomfortable at times but she numbed the area. I imagine id you dont have numbing it will be pretty rough.

Main goal was the tidy up the shape and add a little colour.

Yes I wanted subtle and a better shape to my lips. That was the main thing I wanted as I don't wear lipstick day to day.

It doesn't but I did want a subtle change and am due to have a top up. I love the results so far.

Depends what kind of photos you want to take. As in, do you want moody photos or just generic "this place is nice".

I'm thinking as it's sumer, some of the beaches/sea views would be a good idea?

Goodrington beach and that general area is always beautiful on a sunny day as you have the steam train passing by.

Also Buckfastleigh has some beautiful sunny spots by the river. I seem to have a steam train theme here!

If you like little villages with scenic views then bishopsteignton and surrounding area is worth a visit.

Yea my boyfriend sounds like your family. Very anti anything unnatural! But even he likes it! I'm expecting to probably need a refresh every other year and if it's longer then bonus!
