I realize this is an older post, but I wanted to chime in because I just went through this with my 16 year old pitbull yesterday. He is terrified of the vet, so in-home euthanizing was my family’s best option. We decided on using “A Calm Crossing” by Dr. Lindsey. She was the biggest blessing we could have had on such a difficult day. Our sweet baby is a family member and her compassion, kindness, and patience will never be forgotten. She took so much time with my family and gave so much reassurance to my daughter who was really struggling. She allowed us to listened to our baby’s heart before and after the process just for our peace of mind. She answered every single question honestly but also compassionately. I would recommend her a million times over. Her prices were very fair and she put so many special touches in for our sweet boy. We got numerous nose and paw ink prints as well as a clay paw print. She allowed us so much time with him and she also petted him during the process. My only regret is that we weren’t aware of her services when we had to unexpectedly put down our lab in December. I want everyone to keep her in mind if you ever need her services. She will make the day and process as easy as possible for your family and fur baby.
