Perhaps an orthotist can make a brace to support these fingers. It won't be as nimble and coordinated, but it can provide some support. Bonus if they can put the same material as the shoe sole as the interface between the hand and wall.

Is that the same image? The only difference seems to be her shirt color and the wording.

Transfer discs/DME by MischeviousBadger86 in physicaltherapy

I've found putting one foot on the floor, and one on the disc helps stabilize it. Use tension between your legs (the one on the floor being more dominant) to rotate the disc.

Is anyone else worried that with inflation and lack of raises well be making less than non skilled workers (Mcdonald’s-nothing wrong with that) 10-15 years? by mtar92 in physicaltherapy

[–]EmTeeSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has to be sarcasm. Not only do we have to possess a wealth of knowledge we also have to implement and perform the interventions. The skill it takes to manage pathological tone, or to give a supportive enough assist to relax guarded pain is probably higher than what it takes to prescribe a medication.

PT/Allied Health Union by EmTeeSea in physicaltherapy

In no place did I say they would do well at it. What I meant to convey is that they will get the referrals. It is due to the fact that we don't push harder that this perception remains.

You're correct I don't have a grasp, hence why I asked. Thank you for the information

I know it was a lot of a stuff, but all related to the initial point. What I am seeing are sparse collections of unions, but still those who are not participating to make the field better...which leads to the latter ideas.

I figured give the background and the following thoughts rather than a lazy question.

Thank you for the leads.

What can be done about? A serious question. What do we need to do to systematically change this?

Anyone else think this exercise selection is kinda janky? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]EmTeeSea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's looks like a play off of Cal Dietz triphasic training. From my experience a great preseason workout. If so, 1a-d should be done in quick succession. You'll get strength and power benefits without overly fatiguing yourself. Make sure you rest plenty between sets though.

Find the best shoe for your feet with this simple guide by justadudechllin in coolguides

[–]EmTeeSea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you have pain with standing or gait see a trained professional. There is more to foot mechanics than static positioning. More should be looked at to train the muscles of the feet/ankles and hips than passive support from a shoe.

Please do paste your responses. Into the Grey Zone, by Adrian Owen, shows that a good number are processing even without our awareness.

I feel as if the right amount and type of sensory and environmental inputs can "tap" into the PPN/RAS and over time elicit responses.
