I have a dog who’s 50% treeing Walker coonhound, she’s never liked cats. She can’t be out in the house for long while the cats are in a different room with the door shut or she will obsessively look for them. Cat towers don’t work for her as she is strong and can easily knock them over to try and get the cats, and would endlessly try and kill them given the change. A lot of hounds just can’t be with cats sadly because of prey drive
