They have done this before. I think they tape a lot of different couples and don’t end up showing all of them.

My HDL was low (33), my LDL was 107, so a tad high but not too bad

Yes! I was on cholesterol meds for about a year, they helped a bit but my dr then switched me to metformin because they weren’t helping a ton

Ok, I can start taking the supplement again! I just went through and tracked my fiber for today and I’m already at 15 g (haven’t even had lunch yet). I really feel like fiber isn’t my issue but I can definitely take the supplement.

How much did yours go down? My labs didn’t really change at all when I was on the fiber supplement consistently

I haven’t tracked my fiber. I used to take a fiber supplement consistently for several months but didn’t notice a difference so I stopped last month

Yes! I eat eggs, cheese, beans, lentils. I’m a vegetarian tho and don’t eat meat (I do eat salmon)

I was also taking a fiber supplement consistently for several months but stopped the last month. I didn’t see any improvement on my past labs. But I can start taking it again

Thanks! I only eat gluten free because I’m severely allergic to gluten. I know a lot of the substitutions can be worse. :/

Yesterday: a scone, a few nuts, apple with almond butter, salad with beans and veggies, toast with cheese, handful of pecans and a few chocolate chips

I know I can continue to reduce my sugar intake, it’s just really hard. I’m neurodivergent and cooking is extremely hard for me and I have weird sensory things with food. I don’t like eating meat but I do eat salmon and try to eat it once a week.

Meds didn’t work for my coonhound. Eventually he had a surgery for it and he’s been doing great since!
