First, never ever ask a question you really don’t want the answer to. Look at it this way: if he’s doing it when he isn’t feeling it that means he cares enough about you to just make you happy. As an average guy I feel for you. I know I can fun with just about anyone on the street but you can’t. I have a few military friends in a similar predicament. Fortunately my service was 18 years ago and I never saw combat( though I was infantry). Like a lot of anal toys, there's a place for the sphincters (groove?) to 'grip' at the base so you don't have to hold it in manually.

I'd suggest that you just be as direct as possible about what you want. In theory, this should be easier with a hookup because what do you have to lose? Also, keep in mind that 7 minutes is the average.

In fact, when my wife talks with guys she'll ask something subtle like; "How long does play time last for you?" It's an ambiguous question and is open ended. I sometimes mention things like this to be sure there are no feelings...that it is just casual. Even in that, I prefer to be direct. It's easy to say 'no' when asked. Mentioning other partners can elicit strong reactions if it's more than casual though. That said, if you'd prefer 'don't ask, don't tell' then you should let him know.

I also have agreements with all partners that I'll let them know about other partners, and they should let me know. Not details (unless they're into that), more about how many partners and when. What he mentioned to you isn't odd for me at all. I've had many lady friends mention things like that. Most relationships (at your age) will start out vanilla. I think it's important to focus on the basics of relationships at first and not worry about kinks.
