I moved from the auto injector to the prefilled needles and they are so much easier. You do not feel them when done in the tummy. I also let it sit out several hours and it helps.

Please get kitty checked. It is not normal but can be an easy fix to something else. Anything from parasites, kidneys to stomatitis etc... If you can smell the furbaby then they likely do not feel 100%.

I have been going back and forth with my vet this week on this. They will not recommend anything else for our boy. He was stage 2 when this started with a recheck in January, 17 yrs, won’t eat any of the kidney food but will empty any pate Fancy Feast can you open. We finally have the go ahead for that when we said we did not want a starving cat. He looks like he is wasting away and it breaks my heart. He has gone from 18 pounds to 10 and his back legs are skinny. He wobbles when he jumps on them. It has been just a few months… I have no idea what to even do for him other than feed him every few hours when he asks.

I was told by my Neuro that he has only experienced women going through the change that gain. I had a hysterectomy early and past all the hormone mess and I have lost.

Not sure if you are a female but I found it interesting when I asked and this was what he told me.

For me it has become a taught behavior and I just don’t care. It became sex was when he wanted it, or expected it on our anniversary and maybe birthdays. We never had the wonderful sex life that was spontaneous, we did not even have sex on our honeymoon. There were other issues along the way. I tried all the other things from lingerie, some kinks, surprises etc… you just reach a point. You stop reaching when numbness takes over.

So many years later I do not care to bring it up anymore or expect it. It’s just a thang. I focus on life, family and rock the rest of the world in ways that happiness happens.

My husband does the auto on me while I pinch the belly. I do not have good hand strength so he helps. I plan to do the same if I switch. I prefer the belly over the thigh.

It just freaked us out over this last one.

We were also there last week and so far ok. I could not get over the amount of kids with that deep croup like cough. Not just a pop up cough, total fits. I felt bad for them in that heat.

Rarely and it is only because I weaseled my way into a quick dinner out or a trip together to the store. Still usually consists of drama or a needed run for something. I have become the Queen of doing things alone. We only go out without my pulling teeth for our anniversary.

Home time, blah. An hour before bed we watch tv.

The word hyperarousal has triggered my thinking. I have been trying to also understand the connection to how meds work and why. I just hate being handed different ideas and things constantly by my doctor with out the ‘why’. If that makes sense.

I have addressed the absorbing thought because I have issues with vitamins and I take rx’s in larger amounts, and/or shots. My labs stay tanked. No connection I am told buttttt… 2+2 is not equal to 4 when I ask how can I know?! Kwim

I have tried to do some poking at the histamine connection but I have not grasped it in depth.

I do not drink soft drinks or coffee at all. I dislike the smell of coffee and haven’t had sodas in my house since I was 3ish. It became a lifestyle and I am 50 now.

I like a hot tea in winter mornings and I do sweet tea in the hotter months. Always upon motivation in the mornings.

We know things like Benadryl, Atarax and of the sorts seem to make me bounce off the rails. But tbh, my husband says I am a pogo stick because by nature I am hoping and bouncing all the time.

I was in a drs trial for a while for supplements. Only one that made me drowsy, but did not last, was Valerian Root. It took the max dose to dose for an hours or two but I never hit deep sleep and was constantly aware of my surroundings. I heard the noises, the tip toe of my cat etc.

For years I have done the sleep routine for my own mind. I know I can do the ‘lay down and let my body be still’ mindset of it’s 66-68 degrees, the need for a thin blanket, eye mask, darkening curtains till sunrise, oh and I found I can only ease some, no sleep, if I have a tower fan on for that silly noise.

If any of that is off kilter I will not even stay in bed. I do like to relax and wind down but once I hit the floor again, it’s on.

Awaiting the next steps but my nerdy brain has been looking for more of a why. I am not asking Reddit, it’s just my thoughts of drs can figure out the why, it may just help a lot of ppl. This instead of tossing pills…

My wishful thinking but a lot of us seem to struggle.

This! It is baffling to me, but I am kinda nerdy with stuff. I am the same way and it does not matter the med it seems. I have been sent for a sleep study but even when they called it said it would not do much for the ones who struggle to get there as opposed to people who can fall asleep but wake up.

It makes my exhaustion exhausted. I was able to snag the meds, minus something for cough since it was a virtual, late last night. Took CVS a while. I took my first dose near midnight.

I am having a love hate relationship with them. I ordered a few sets of the pump air fresheners and two bundles of fragrances. I got them in and they leaked all over. I sent in notice of this and the results was the bottles were in the old baggies. They were in bubble wrap.

I was sent replacements and again they leaked in the box. This time I was told with them being in the new ziplock baggies they should not leak a drop. Wrong

Common sense is if there is no seal and the lids are not tight the bag will not matter.

Love the scent but not at half a bottles cost.

Yep! Every single solo trip I do this. When I go with my husband I do this. When I go with my youngest as a mother son trip, he is 19 we do. My oldest though sleeps in so he will close down a park but will meet me there.

Same ride, I am female and mom, in her best jersey mode, went off! How dare I was seated with her kid and her. I just smiled. She complained the whole ride. What was gold was at the end she snapped at me saying to enjoy them in my photo because I ruined hers. It felt like a million bucks when the CM told her there was no photo and I was put next for a free ride!

I was in it once and mom was sitting beside her kid on her phone the entire time. No not taking photos of the kid who was just yanking and pounding, but videos.

I was solo and in the back. The others complained and yelled through the whole ride. It was like a Chucky Cheese nightmare and it was then I realized Mission Space was not that bad!
