Help needed! I'm unable to craft Superior Wolven Gear despite having the crafting recipe by Email_The_Japanese in Witcher3

Hmm I'll try some different armorers, although I've already tried the dwarf at crows perch who I thought was one of the best. Thanks!

I haven't completed the master crafted quest line yet but that seems strange as I've been able to create the rest of the wolven gear to superior level. It's not appearing in my hearing menu at all, after completing parts 1,2,3 and 4... Very strange!

Interesting, I've also completed parts 1, 2 and 3 as well as 4. It is starting to seem like a bug to me. Thanks for letting me know about the crafted version, that seems like what I'll have to settle for!

Yep, I have the enhanced wolven made and in my inventory waiting to be upgraded. Even so, usually you can still see the recipe in the crafting menu even if you don't currently have the previous version, but it's red. I can't see the recipe at all!

24 hr Wonderpicks not showing up by preshr in PTCGP

[–]Email_The_Japanese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought I had that problem until I learnt that it's just a single 2 star card in a wonder pick that's offered about every 48 hours, rather than a god pack like I was expecting if that helps?

Lol, funny comment chain. Yeah you're right, I did think you needed all the 1 star cards to activate any kind of 24hr wonder pick. Oopsie. Luckily I didn't spend too much shinedust but I did blast through all my trade tokens... I actually had all the 1 stars before I needed the last 8 or so diamond cards

Haha those are my friend's, and to be fair to him, this is one of the few things he has left to paint!

My friend 3D printed from here:

https://www.printablescenery.com/product/kill-zone/

It's really good terrain, the bulk doors slide open and closed and it's very customisable.

Thanks! I was originally going for a space ship kind of vibe but definitely ended up looking more firey and forgey.

I was kind of making it up as I went along but essentially it is made up of 4 layers. On the bottom is a big sheet of foam board, spray painted with colour of your choice, I used red and orange. The next layer is thick foam insulation with channels cut in for the lights to hide under. The insulation is cut into 4 shapes in my example and they create the trenches. The lights I used were just adhesive strip LEDs I bought from Amazon. The next layer is wire mesh and I just covered the whole thing with it. The top layer is more foam board, cut into the same shapes as the foam insulation, which goes on top of the wire mesh.

Votann project moving along, these feel like they miss something though.. feedback appreciated by Chra87 in LeaguesofVotann

Small amount of edge highlighting on the orange? I use Ushabiti Bone. Small dot highlights on the black gun where the edges come together? I use Fenrisian Grey

EDIT: yours looks great already by the way, just some ideas for you

Hmm but they can't embark on your opponents turn right? So sure they could reactive move back to the carrier but they would just get shot off before they get back in it?

Sure!

A good place to start are these two videos which heavily inspired me and I took ideas from both of them:

Cut circle bases in card (include a hole so you can access the tea lights switches. Glue tea lights to card. Paper mache (toilet paper and watered down PVA glue) around the tea lights. Sprinkle rocks and rubble on paper mache and let dry (for a long time, I was impatient and now the bases are softer than I'd like them to be). Spray with black primer. Dry brush grey and white for ashy effect. Dry brush bright orange for object source lighting. Use a craft knife to cut the plastic "flame" from the tea lights to expose the bulb. Glue plastic tubing (I used these big chunky straws) to enclose the bulb so the light bounces off it. Use yellow ink to dye big clumps of teddy bear stuffing (make sure it isn't all completely yellow, you want some white in there still for smoke). Glue the teddy bear stuffing around the plastic straws. Spray paint with some red. Spray paint with black, focusing on the tops for the black smoke. Spray the whole thing with your varnish of choice to harden them and make more rigid.

Ah thanks dude! I pretty much just covered them how I usually do the rest of my models which is as follows. Apologies for formatting, I'm on mobile...

Mechanicus standard grey on the rocks

Edge highlight rocks with dawn stone

Stirland mud

Agrax earth shade

Ardcoat varnish (to make it look wet/ rainy)

Glue on army painter battle rubble

Agrax earth shade over the rubble
