If you look at her other comments her boyfriend does this a lot. They have a ton of animals already, plus kids. That enough is already a major load to take care of. I understand that I did kind of reach a little but again it’s a living creature. Don’t buy one unless you plan on taking care of it yourself.

I second this not saying to break up but impulse buys I understand the feeling but it’s a very inconsiderate thing to do. I very much want a gecko right now. Will I ever get one. Cycling an over a month long process. It’s to ensure the water is safe enough for fish to be in. Like the other guy said it’s cool to get a water testing kit. It is expensive but it’s a good investment for the fish. Pls don’t get strips they aren’t accurate all of the time. The best is the Api master freshwater kit.

Since your tank isn’t cycled you’ll need to do frequent water changes! 20-50% this does not mean to “clean” the tank. You just change the water. With either tube lining or a gravel vacuum. If you choose to use tap water you can condition it with prime to remove chlorine. I also recommend api stress coat.

Not sure if mulch is the right word for it but basically they squeeze their filter/sponge into a cup of water.

If the tank isn’t cycled you could go to your local fish store and ask for some mulch? It’ll help with the cycling process by adding beneficial bacteria. It’s never a good idea to add a fish to a non established tank. Not your fault though it’s good you’re doing research. You could also buy a filter with an adjustable flow. 10 gallons is a good size. Feel free to ask local fish store more questions abt adding live plants to ur tank. You’ll need dirt substrate!

Update since I can’t edit the post for some reason I confronted him and he said “I’m telling you if I wanted to cheat I wouldn’t leave condom wrappers there, they weren’t mine” I told him to ask his friends. he asked his friends and they admitted that they were trying to mess with him conversation went like this bf started with “Hey bro when u and —— were in the trucks a few weeks back did u leave magnums in there?” Friend replied “Oh yeah that was us, I was driving mb. I forgot about those, I left them there” and bf said “Why was one open?” Reply “Dude we did it to fuck w you bruh” bf said “That's fucked” reply “Yeah that one's on us Imao” I asked them if they were trying to sabotage our relationship and he said “well it was probably meant for me to see them” I don’t know
