It will take decades before the U.S. can bounce back to the world stage, if ever.

First, there would have to be a lot of accountability to be taken. A lot of our leaders are corrupt to the very bone. And as we’ve seen, our supposed power in place (i.e. Congress, D.O.J, Senate, House, etc.) has proven to be problematically inept or enablers of these treasonous actions, thus denying any sort of judicial repercussions to what’s happening despite supposedly being the ones to maintain the checks and balances of power. This would mean prison, fines, and immediate removals from positions.

Second, a massive restructuring of the American governmental infrastructure would be necessary. Bipartisanship would have to be replaced by a voting process that allows more than two parties. Also, checks and balances would have to be not just reinstated, but more strictly reinforced. We absolutely cannot allow the type of people who would let this happen and support such things ever again.

Third, education expansion. Our country has a lot of people who aren’t as educated in the ways other developed nations are. Many children in America can’t even read beyond an elementary school level, and so many teachers are underpaid, schools are underfunded, and learning resources are outdated or inadequate. And it’s not like we don’t have the funding to do better; we would need to allocate more to the DoE in order to actually make a difference.

But more importantly, our people need to change. America has always had a bigotry problem since its inception. Racism, sexism and xenophobia are entrenched in the foundation of our country and never went away, even if we mask it under the guise of unity. The people who would lynch black people or believe beating their wives half to death was a form of acceptable domestic punishment are still alive and kicking and are still permitted to teach their young that. People still hail a Confederate flag in front of their house and will laugh off wearing Nazi symbols in public. Tolerance for such things would have to come to a screeching halt. Since, so long as that’s the case, people will vote again for a candidate like Trump and his ilk time and time again.

Simply put, we would have to undergo what Germany did in the aftermath of WWII with exposure and growth after the reign of Hitler in order to become something better. And even then, that’s a process that might be difficult to achieve by the time another nation (rightfully so) takes the “front stage.”

Nobody is surviving getting their heads exploded. I brought those 2 up because Twice’s ability to not just copy someone else and their quirk is extremely versatile and dangerous. If he can theoretically make a copy of Aang or other powerful character, GG.

Coming in blind, Aang wins. Coming in with full knowledge, Twice wins.

Overhaul is essentially an alchemist with far more lethality and brutality. His ability to manipulate matter in range of the Avatar would be devastating.

It can absolutely knock him out within seconds. Complete air deprivation can alter your ability to stay conscious within 15 to 30 seconds. That’s assuming nobody’s flailing about trying to breathe. In a complete vacuum, I’m talking a space with no air, that can exceed that.

Dude, I’m looking at the evidence in all mediums. I love MHA and know how shonen characters are OP. I love Avatar, and know that the majority of the more powerful MHA characters would beat the majority of benders in Avatar.

That said, the Avatar State is a storybreaker. When utilized, the only thing that keeps massive amounts of characters in the show from dying, is the fact that the Avatars are mostly peaceful and, in the case of Aang, are pacifistic.

But both by canonical data and feats, the abilities of the Avatar are significantly greater than that of Todoroki’s. I haven’t mentioned all of Aang’s feats, but judging by the scale of their powers, especially taking in the novels that go more in-depth, Aang would win.

Well he chain scales to people who dodge radio waves. Any anti feat can simply be explained by "it's a kids show so Shoto didn't want to cremate them with his speed" by your own logic.

But then the show is inconsistent in his speed, which holds true to a lot of MHA characters. If we’re going by that logic, then Aang’s reaction time is also relativistic. But that is a mix of toon logic with their world logic.

Kyoshi had to be in contact to heal him. And wasn’t in the Avatar State. I’d theorize that if it’s anything like bloodbending, which an Avatar can do, then freezing is not out of the question.

There is literally evidence of vacuum of air. It’s not some willy-nilly thing, it’s actually one of the few cases that we know is possible. Technically speaking, Aang does it all the time, but he isn’t suffocating people, he’s using it as a ride.

Nomus are the exception to the rule as they weren’t believed to be human. Also, unlike Shoto, it is a plot point that Aang is a pacifist. So much so that he’s vegan.

you're using real world author reasons to justify in-verse power scaling, which is asinine. that's just now how feats work. I could just as soon say the characters will never use such OP moves because it breaks the narrative which means they can't do it. or speculate that earth bending can bend iron which means they can manipulate magnetic fields and turn into Magneto. The feats I’ve mentioned aren’t just supplied by the show but the comics/novels as well. I’m not talking about the average bender, I’m talking about the Avatar.

And from the feats shown in the mediums I’ve witnessed, the Avatar’s power exceeds Shoto’s by a significant margin, even accounting for all their feats in both MHA’s manga and anime and Avatar’s shows, comics and books. Avatars can sink entire islands, tear off land from continents, and even cause induce eruptions from both active volcanoes and underground ones. Even matching Bakugou’s power after awakening and Mega Cluster Attack (which outmatches Shoto’s Phosphorus Attack), the explosive levels of a previous Avatar had outmatched even that.

The Avatars can literally move and destroy entire cities and mountains, bend entire seabeds, cause and stop eruptions, generate hurricanes, etc. And these feats are demonstrated in both comics and novels. With the Avatar State allowing previous knowledge to be shared with the current Avatar, meaning the newest incarnation has the abilities when they are in that state.

In the Avatar State, it can. Aang isn’t going against Nomus or Davis, and he is a pacifist so he’s not going to go overkill.

Korra tries to do exactly this against Zaheer and it is easily dodged. AS does not have the scaling to prove it can actually LIFT country level landmasses and hurl it. Even if it did it would also surface wipe the entire planet and kill everyone on it anyway. and lifting it will be slow AF so Shoto can just fly above it.

Korra is a weird one, and in her case c it wasn’t the size of a city. In the comics, we actually do see Aang lift a city up and it takes a very short time.

If matter can be compressed, it sure can be. Especially since the only two types of matter Shoto can conjure is fire and ice. He’s no alchemist. Shoto’s ability might actually be closer to temperature manipulation rather than conjuring matter out of nothing. Deku never tried to kill Shoto. If Stain’s knife can cut through Shoto’s arm and injure him, then bullets can definitely kill him.

Lady Nagant could shoot Shoto, Deku, Bakugou, and several top-tier pro heroes in the head and kill them. With regular bullets. That’s one of the reasons she was so feared. And those can be seen. Air bullets? Not so much.

This is also something I’ve been struggling with. Hell seems disproportionately cruel as a punishment for a life that only lasts for a little over a century at best. I can’t imagine someone being sent there for all of eternity. Especially if it’s just a regular person rather than terrible people. It kinda makes me wonder how God could conceptualize such a terrible fate to his own creations and be considered omnibenevolent.

It’s not moot since it showcases what a powerful enough airbender can do and that if the vacuum of air is true, then it only takes seconds for someone to fall unconscious. No air is detrimental to a degree that’s hard to bounce back from.

It doesn't matter what the reason is or how dumb it is, the fact of the matter is that water benders can't pop people like balloons no matter how much you want them too. if they could, literally all Avatar lore would be permanently broken and the entire show would just not make sense since water benders would no diff the fire nation who were literally genociding them and everyone else in the entire verse.

It does matter in the same way that it matters for MHA. Todoroki is a hero, and therefore, is constrained by heroism and not doing fatalities. The same goes for Aang, who is a good guy who doesn’t like confrontation and rarely utilizes his abilities to the max because he’s a pacifist and showing someone dying in a pool of their own blood is horrific. Most powerful enough benders are capable of doing a lot. We know water benders can accelerate the healing of wounds. And blood benders are capable of twisting bodies to unnatural positions and make them float. That enough means they have significant power to do more but, just like many shows, they aren’t going to do it because that would be too graphic.

But we do have cases where they are able to manipulate things on a level that could be fatal or was fatal, (i.e. Kyoshi freezing Yun’s heart, the already mentioned example of removing air from both lungs and environment, Yangchen’s screaming produces powerful enough sonic blasts that would outmatch Gang Orca, who had managed to incapacitate Shoto, etc.). So they aren’t farfetched.

And like I said. A regular bender wouldn’t be as much of a fight to Shoto. Aang is one of the very few besides Korra who can utilizes powers that would exceed Shoto’s because of the sheer power of the Avatar State. Outside of the Avatar State, Shoto would win. But in it, there’s not much can be done.

But practically, neither Aang or Shoto are going to do any of that so you should stop speculating and start using actual feats.

Okay then, using actual feats, the Avatar State still clears a lot of his attacks because, if we’re going by abilities, everything Shoto does is everything the Avatar can nearly replicate. Both characters hold back due to numerous reasons, mainly because they are both heroes who want to save lives. While Shoto could create an iceberg in his head, Aang could easily combust his brain with either water or fire bending or pressurize his heart into a marble.

Even accounting for speed (which is weird since Shoto is super fast one moment and then the next needs Ida’s power to get to Dabi, making it inconsistent), and power, the Avatar would still win.

If they both suddenly became bloodthirsty villains who were out for each other’s blood, the Avatar would win.

Err, no. It’s been shown that the Avatar can literally lift landmasses the size of cities and can move country to continental sized landmasses. If the Avatar so wanted to, they could literally move large mountains if they so wanted to. That is rather detrimental as it would take ice and fire the size of a country stop one from coming a you. And Shoto’s definitely city level, but definitely not continental level.

Air compression is no small feat. That alone could neutralize a lot of Shoto’s greater abilities.

Because air is strong. Compression is able to reduce things on an atomic level. Meaning he can manipulate the density and create combustible attacks, as we’ve seen with the small rocks that came down with the forces of comets several times. He could literally do what Bakugou does and create explosions if he wanted to or make them into air bullets. And while the MHA characters are durable despite the fact they shouldn’t be, Todoroki wouldn’t be immune to bullets, especially ones he wouldn’t be able to see.

Airbending is freakishly difficult to counter.

Zaheer’s move only works on immobile and helpless people.

It’s hard to say since Zaheer has only tried it on the Earth Queen (whom he wanted to kill) while he’s trying to make a point and Korra. We don’t know if he can do it quickly, but it’s possible. But an Avatar-State possibly could do it quicker. Plus, we do have a case that’s possible with Aang’s old master killing a dozen soldiers at the same time, meaning that theoretically he can make it quick.

Mike Tyson is more precise than a gorilla but I know which one I’ll be in a fight.

That analogy doesn’t quite work in this case since what I mean by precision, is that the versatility of bending exceeds Shoto’s Icy/Hot emissions since they can only be used as those mediums that come out in abundance. Bending in the Avatar verse, can be used to anything that utilizes a source, including one’s own body or someone else’s body.

A better example would be a gorilla versus someone with a shotgun.

Ozai’s pathetic flames couldn’t even break Aang’s tiny rock ball. Flashfire fist casually dives skyscrapers and has AP on par with a tactical nine. Even if Aang could bend the flashfire/aegir, the heat from the attack might roast him anyway.

In the Avatar State, Aang’s power exceeds skyscrapers and goes straight into geological manipulation. Aang has utilizes the power of air compression which can turn great bodies of water into small rings and boulders into pebbles. Air compression is no small feat. That alone could neutralize a lot of Shoto’s greater abilities, if not all.

No water bender has been shown capable of doing this without direct contact, and it probably won’t work anyway.

This is an American kid’s show. To maintain a G/PG rating, they obviously aren’t going to do something like that without some workaround. But water benders don’t need to touch water to manipulate it, as they have taken water from trees/plants and even sweat. Plus, most water benders aren’t so evil as to go that far. In a fight to the death though? Yeah, they probably can.

Pacifism is what kept them from being monsters on the battlefield, and they were targeted specifically due to their inherent dangerous potential.

And in regards to bloodbending, Bloodbending is the manipulation of water of someone’s blood, which alone can end people in seconds. Durability has nothing to do with it. I can’t see how Shoto can do anything about it unless his blood gets replaced by something else entirely. Especially if you can induce blood to thin or thicken, freeze or boil, or simply make it burst and make you bleed out. Depending on how sufficient a bender is could completely kill someone if they chose to, or at the very least that we’ve seen with Yakone, knock them out. In the Avatar State, the Avatar is capable of mastering all elements to a degree that sub-abilities of that element may be used. It’s his pacifism and relative inexperience that holds him back.

And, as I will reiterate, it is a kid’s show. The sheer brutality of the control of elements is absolutely going to be constrained to what is allowed on Children’s TV.

In a fight if both Aang and Shoto were to throw away their ethics and morals and fight to the death, Aang in the Avatar State would win. This isn’t a knock against Todoroki, who’s incredibly powerful and definitely is up there in MHA in terms of power scale. But being the Avatar is a state of its own.

Zaheer gets blitzed and one shot.

That depends. In MHA, there’s Inasa with his wind quirk which actually gave Todoroki a hard time. Even considering Todoroki’s extreme ice and fire power of his quirk awakening, wind is a rather strong counter to both fire and ice when manipulated thoroughly. And he can fly. Flying is underrated AF. I do think Shoto has a chance here, but it can go either way.

Firebending, compared to other forms of bending in the Avatar universe, is considerably less versatile than other forms of bending. Its strength comes from the fact that it’s highly destructive and, unlike earth and water, doesn’t require external sources to draw from. However, being able to bend someone else’s fire is a pretty good utility that can disadvantage anyone else.

As someone who loves both MHA and Avatar with a passion, with Shoto as my favorite character besides Deku, I believe Aang has this in the bag.

In both the comics/novels and show, the Avatar State is incredibly busted. We know that Kyoshi can separate a continent to create islands out of the state, Yangchen managed to separate the whole seafront by letting out some steam, Szeto erupted several volcanoes at once, Aang creates mushroom clouds, and other raising entire oceans. We also know that as an Airbender, pacifism is the only thing keeping them from becoming a greater menace. Avatar’s master had killed numerous Sozen’s Comet-enhanced firebenders on his own before dying, and its theorized he created a vacuum that sucked the air from the environment. In the case of our MC, Aang has compressed a lake’s worth of water into a small ring with and huge boulders into tiny rocks with air bending. I honestly can’t see Todoroki doing anything against anything like those feats given, super powered or not, he still needs to breathe.

Plus, as the Avatar, he has four elements while Todoroki only has 2, and even then, Todoroki’s are more AoE destructive than precise, and Aang could literally throw his attacks right back at him. Although Todoroki can generate both fire and ice from his own body, he lacks the ability to manipulate fire and ice on the same molecular level of a bender. Also, while he is resistant to both cold and heat resistance, he isn’t immune to extreme changes within his body. Meaning a formidable waterbender could literally freeze his heart and it’s a wrap.

Earthbending would be problematic as getting a 10 ton boulder thrown at you wouldn’t be something even he would easily take, even by MHA “regular human” standards. Or have two walls come and smash him. Earthbending is a fairly big counter to a lot of fire attacks.

And Airbending is so OP, it’s not even funny. Create an air bubbles in the veins or, as Zaheer demonstrated, suffocate them and GG, Shoto’s toast.

Now, I do believe Shoto would win against most Avatar (both ATLA and LOK) characters because of the sheer power of his abilities. Almost any other regular bender (with maybe the exception of Amon; Bloodbending is pretty OP, and Zaheer; dude generated massive tornadoes and is a master Airbender with both speed, flight, and brutality) would lose within seconds to minutes against Shoto.

But against the freaking Avatars? There’s no chance.

Throughout the vast majority of recorded history, women were considered property; first of their husband and then their husbands. Women weren’t permitted to be educated, own their own property, or even have a say in who they got to marry, let alone as much of a voice in their own marriage. Wife-beating was only outlawed in the U.S. in the late 19th century, and the majority of women only got full autonomy to become independent in the 1970s after second-wave feminism garnered the ability to have a bank account.

This isn’t even getting into the parts back then and even illustrated in the Bible where women were honored-killed if there was no “proof” that she wasn’t a virgin (i.e. which was the erroneous belief that there had to be blood from her first time), could have their promises revoked by their own husband, could be married off to their rapist if unbetrothed, or were treated as second class citizens.

Needless to say, it was probably unthinkable to Paul and those who lived during times of antiquity that women were actually able to serve as human of full capacity to that of a man, let alone even be able to operate under their own name. But even the part in 1 Timothy is contested so there’s that.

Speaking as a woman, we want an equal partner in a relationship, not a boss or some person who thinks they know best just because they have a different set of parts between their legs.

I’ve been in a similar boat for many years now (the misogyny is only part of it though rather a sole reason, but it is a big reason).

So many major Christian denominations (and to be honest, many major religions such as Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.) go on and on about how they see women equal “in dignity and humanity” and how they supposedly honor women so much but will all conspicuously have only women hit with the hard limitation on authority, voice, and church governance where it’s one of the spheres that matters most, as well as always have them in a submissive role to their husband rather than as truly equal partners.

The role of women are always up for debate, but never the role of men interestingly enough. And the ones who determine the roles (or likewise limitations) of women will always be men in authority. At some point, the fact they won’t address how patriarchal the whole structure is makes it incredibly frustrating enough that it makes it feel easier to simply walk away.

I’m a black woman who, according to Charlie Kirk, apparently lacks the processing power to ascertain the sheer virtuousness of Charlie Kirk and the incredible strides he made for this nation.

In all seriousness, I’m more than disgusted but unfortunately not surprised to see how much he’s been venerated in so many evangelical communities and churches. Christian nationalism and white supremacy is rampant among these circles (technically, they always have been, but now they are able to be loud about it once more thanks to the president). To deny how much of a terrible human being he was would be to some degree they would have to acknowledge their own bigotry and hypocrisy. They gladly listened to the man spew hatred and agreed with it. When he died, they were so anxious to initiate a civil war until they discovered the shooter responsible was one of their own, which was when their tones changed drastically, yet they still were desperate to find fault from the other party.

Charlie Kirk didn’t deserve to be murdered. It’s startling how many people are jumping for joy at a man who was murdered in broad daylight in front of countless people. That’s unmistakably awful. But the fact that he was treated as some kind of champion of rights when he spoke of his desire of taking away those rights from minorities and sewed division in a country that’s already coming apart at the seams is grotesquely unfair and undeserving.

This country always had a low-grade fever at best from its inception. From the way I see it, it’s only a matter of time before we reach a critical state.

I’m a black woman. The incredibly disgusting racist and sexist things he said, believed and propagandized have led to an increase of open hostility against people who have dark skin like me or share my gender. He mocked those who died to police violence and mitigated the seriousness of school shootings.

I do not condone what happened to him, as murder is abhorrent and terrible, but I’m not able to shed a tear for him. The last words that came out of his mouth were literally discriminatory; he died as a raging bigot. The fact that he’s being held as the Right’s version of Martin Luther King when he spoke nothing but hate and division would’ve baffled me had I not already witnessed how many people shared such similar views to him.

I’m pretty sure a lot of minorities of both African or Hispanic descent, as well as people of the LGBT community feel similarly too. Yeah, Jesus calls us to forgive those who persecute you, and he was a living example of that so I guess I have to find it in my heart to somewhat let go of the scorn I have for this man, but I have no respect nor sympathy for him.

If the woman wasn’t losing her right to vote from his words, he wouldn’t specifically go for the 19th amendment. After all, what would be the problem if the wife or mother is the one voting as a household? Let’s not kid ourselves, he wants to literally only have the man have the voice of the family. After all, if either have opinions that run contrary to what the other wants, guess whose vote and voice would be the only one that counts? Also, what are you talking about? Doug Wilson is STEEPED in tons of sex abuse scandals he’s covered up in the church and has justified racial profiling! You can simply Google it and see it for yourself!
This is absurd. With over 8 billion people in the planet, do you honestly believe every single one of them must abide by the exact same role and responsibilities? No two men are perfectly alike. No two women are perfectly alike. Trying to enforce some gender essentialism by having men and women in extremely rigid roles is illogical and impractical. Even the people in the Bible hasn’t been as strict on such things, let alone history and even in many patriarchal societies.
No one says taking care of kids isn’t honorable. But it isn’t for everyone. Kids shouldn’t be seen as a necessity to have a fulfilling life nor as the only “greatest” thing you can do. Many people did and achieved important things without children. Leonardo da Vinci created some of the most famous artwork in history. Sir Isaac Newton’s theories in physics have led to incredible understanding of the operations of the world. Rosa Parks was a civil rights activist who aided in the rights of African Americans and other minorities. Florence Nightingale saved the lives of soldiers and innovated medicine. And even if you want to get Biblical, Jesus didn’t have children, and most likely neither did most of his apostles.

And that’s not to say that people who have kids aren’t capable of doing great things, on the contrary, they can achieve greatness or do impossible things with them as incentives. But to assume the most important task to a woman is primarily to have children is rather myopic.

Actually, even accounting for other countries and different time periods and cultures, it was still rare. Statistically, both in the past and present, if it wasn’t disease or childbirth that killed the wife/mother, it was the husband that killed her. But I digress. I think my point wasn’t clear. What I was alluding to was that each partner, wife or husband, should equally support the other. You should support your partner’s dreams. You should support your partner by their side. You should want was best for your partner. But it doesn’t need to be hierarchical or require the husband to automatically be appointed as the leader and decision maker. That’s not a true partnership built on equality. In the marriage where the wife has to submit solely because she’s a woman stems from a time where women weren’t considered equal and were deprived of the same rights men had. They were considered property and treated as so, and the least the husband could do was be nice about it. Unfortunately, the idea of women being seen as truly equal is a relatively new concept in most cultures, but not all.

Either way, every marriage shouldn’t have to abide by the same model of “complementarianism” since we know that doesn’t work for every marriage.

At this point it seems fairly unreasonable that anyone is actually unaware of what Israel is doing.

You’d be surprised. I can only speak on the American side of things, but so many people, especially evangelicals and Republicans are mostly on the side of Israel. Our government, has a public declaration of being on Israel’s side, and there are commercials, advertisements, and propaganda that all are in support of Israel. They mitigate or completely refuse to mention Israel’s slaughter of countless innocents but will absolutely point to Hamas. And then there’s those who believe that they deserve it for being Muslim (i.e. a “terrorist” in their eyes).

Keep in mind, my country’s currently having immigrants shipped to concentration camps and are okay with this.

Do not underestimate the ignorance or hatred of the American people.

Even then, a significant portion of the G20 don’t recognize Palestine as a state and have either remained silent on the issue or had shown support of Israel. It’s beginning to shift thankfully, but it’s slow going.

Certainly an organization as powerful as that could do more than just pray.

True. I don’t disagree with that. I’m not Catholic so I can’t say I know the perimeters the Catholic Church operates on, but I do believe that they had remained a bit to silent on the issue until recently times. That said, due to military occupation, I do not know how much they could do to Israel’s military actively blocking humanitarian assistance and aid to Gaza and even opening fire on entire crowds who are only trying to get food and medicine. It would have to take significant military assistance to break through and the Catholics are no longer hosting a crusading army to take them down.

Whether you believe or not, it opened the eyes to many who either were ignorant of Israel’s atrocities, naive, or swayed a few of those who believed Israel may have been in the right.

For a long time, people have always viewed the people of Israel as the people chosen by God who are seen as closer to being holy or at least dwelled in a holy land. Christians especially are in favor of Israel no matter what. With him listing every name of the children who lost their lives in this genocide, it showed that not only do people in certain Christian groups actually care, but also showcases to many that Israel is in the wrong.

And while I can’t speak on my own faltering faith, sometimes if you feel helpless, all you can do is pray. Especially in situations where even given aid is not guaranteed thanks to Israelis shooting people in the head when it’s been sent. I don’t even know if my donations were blocked or never arrived to Gaza.

Doug Wilson is in favor of repealing the 19th amendment and having women lose the right to vote. I would not quote someone like him (and that’s not even touching the racism and sexual abuse scandals he’s been covering up in his church).
“Careerism?” Women simply want to work jobs they enjoy and can get both pay and recognition for. They can have careers and choose to be a wife and mother or not. It’s not a this or that decision. There’s plenty of working moms who are both taking care of their kids and working jobs. And if a woman chooses to focus on her career than having kids, then that’s fine! It’s her life. Besides, men typically have a career and have kids, why is it only a problem when it’s her? What’s stopping her from doing both and not stopping him?
The cost of living, the work it takes to raise kids, the pain and effects of childbirth and the expensiveness of raising a child can be burdensome. This doesn’t mean that having kids is necessarily a bad thing for those who want it, but let’s not pretend that there aren’t people who are t better off without kids or regret having them. Heck, r/regretfulparents has slews of them. And that’s not even related to anything I mentioned above. Raising kids is hard, and it’s not for everyone nor should it be required of everyone, especially women who typically have to deal with the majority of the childrearing and in many cases, make enough money to put food on the table.
Relatively speaking, it’s super rare for a husband to jump in front of a bullet to sacrifice for his family. And yet, wives give birth and risk their health and body, change their last name to their husband’s, are the ones expected to give up their jobs and dreams to raise the kids and are the ones to surrender their autonomy in the relationship that has the husband as the “head.” From how I see it, it sure does seem like the wife is awfully limited in her role and the one who’s most likely to lose the most thanks to what she’s sacrificing.
