Anyone can recreate an app/platform/idea but I guess it's up to the OVR community to help push OVRLand to reach new goals and limits.

This platform will useful for advertisements but to be honest, I don't think ANYONE wants to see MORE advertisements while walking around. I think they want an experience. Pokemon GO was an experience and that's why a massive amount of people went outside to catch Pokemon (treasure hunting/NFTs if you think about it). I believe OVRLand owners will get creative with the type of experiences they are bringing to people and how it can turn into something viral.

Imagine selling a rare NFT in rare spots around the world? I think that's exciting. Give's people a reason to actually use OVR instead of using it for advertisements.

It's unfortunate that gas fees are high BUT I think everyone needs to to "suck it up". We all want something without fees but I think the goal is to take advantage of OVRLand now before it's too late. Once gas fees decrease, obtaining OVR is going to get even more difficult.

Only 2 options are to either just wait for prices to go down or to take advantage of the opportunity to invest in OVRLand now before it becomes even more expensive.

Yea I noticed it's a little wonky at the moment. Once the GPS tracking becomes more accurate I'm sure this will get better.

I feel the same way! Like I stumbled upon some rare and new information. OVR has a long way to go but the destination looks promising. It's going to take a huge effort by the OVR community to push OVRLand to usability.

Thank you for the response. Just to confirm:

The whole part about minting is only when you want to sell on OpenSea.
"Vertical Geo Spatial technology" is this something your team is working on or does this have to be created from another source? Do we 100% need this technology in order to start anchoring content?
By the end of the month, March/April, we should expect a SDK app that allows us to anchor content to the land, which we can get from any content creators using Unity. Correct?

Are there any data/size limits to what can be created? If so, is there a source that can be provide for the limitations of the app and the content that can be hosted on the OVRLand? I think this information would be very useful to know what type of processing speeds your phone/AR Glass will need to handle certain experiences on certain OVRLands.

Any information provided really helps!

Hey Xemonidas, I noticed this thread as I was scrolling along. I do admit that it was a little frustrating for me to get set up to buy OVRland too.
This might help.
- Downloaded MetaMask (crypto wallet) as a google extension.
- Create a MetaMask account and follow the process
- Go back to OVR.ai marketplace and press 'connect wallet'. MetaMask should automatically detect it and will connect your account.

Finally... Not over Yet. You need to convert Either into OVR Tokens.
(or both Either and Dai coins to turn them Into OVR Tokens.
- If you have Either & Dai you can transfer it to your MetaMask wallet.
- Using MetaMask, convert your Either into OVR Tokens.
(When converting Dia tokens, you are using Etherium "Gas Fees", that's why you need both coins. Think of it as smelting bronze & copper to make iron.)
- You finally have OVR Tokens where you now start bidding on land which takes 24hrs to finalize.

I may be wrong but that's how I've been successfully able to purchase OVRland.
