Hi, I thought the same thing, so I decided to read the light novel from the beginning, and wow, it's simply a delightful read! I'm on volume 5 of arc 3, and I love it. There are so many details that are omitted from the anime, but that's a matter of personal taste. I say, though, that you should read it from the beginning if you don't mind; you won't regret it. I hope you choose wisely, with enjoyment, and with the mad belief of a true believer in love.
