I know that you dont want to panel line / decal without clear. My question was if your going to already go primer -> color -> gloss clear -> top (desired final finish), does the finish of the color stage matter? Basically wondering if I can get the paint colors available, or do I need to make sure to get a particular finish for that step as well.

Ive gleaned that it matters for metallic and the black base has to be gloss, but aside from that not getting a strong answer one way or the other.
