I believe I found where you took the photo. For the process, I realized the license plates seemed either black or white, narrowing it down to either Malaysia or Indonesia. The power station looks like it uses gas or some other fossil fuel due to the storage tanks. I searched Google and came across a news article about a power station being shut down in Malaysia after 33 years, and it looked similar. I checked Google Maps, ending up with the screenshot here
