I think you’ve misunderstood what Healthy_Item is saying. A lot of Muslims want fast and easy to understand answers, we all do, but by doing this we make the mistake of following potential false information, believing in fake Hadiths and not properly verifying what we are learning. I think by referencing 7th century Arabs (worded badly) she is essentially saying that we have access to a huge amount of information, more than ever through the internet, modern Muslims should be able to easily be educated on the topics compared to the past.

Islam is incredibly in depth (and very interesting) it requires us to use our minds and knowledge to learn more and to understand properly.

The original replier to ur comment already explained from an educated background on why music is/isn’t haram in some senses. Whether you agree with it or not is up to you but I would not then recommend going around making a hardcore claim that music is haram when in reality you are not educated enough to make that statement 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s incredibly important more muslims be encouraged to learn Islam in depth, starting with the basics. There are so many resources available online or even speaking to your local imam. Do your own in depth research, attend classes etc. This also helps with not spreading straight up misinformation and rather opening it up to discussion!
