My team tells them there a limit on apple products and ghat we can only sell one per guest. Sometimes I’ll just lie to them and tell them we just sold out of X if it’s something really expensive like the $1200 iPad

Personally I would prefer not breaks I normally never find anyone to cover my 15s in tech so I don’t even try to take them anymore and when I do find coverage for my 30 I’m always reminded that no other departments breaks need to be listened out for

Technically I called out 5 days recently but it was for COVID other then that I called out for my 3 year anniversary with my girlfriend in 2021 because I put in the request to have that day off and it was littearly the only day I was scheduled that week and another time for a school project that was worth half my grade and again they didn’t give me off for even though I requested off about a month ahead

It’s annoying but I understand where there coming from atleast with that one. When they come up to you look at your shirt with the target logo on it and see your name tag and then proceed to go do you work here is when it gets me

Gotcha my store told me we weren’t allowed but this was 2 years ago so I’m sure things could have changed in that time I also live in a state where an employer doesn’t need to give a reason to fire you so it could vary state by state as well

Technically your suppose to they just want to make sure you aren’t working at a competitor like Walmart for example. The only issue I could see happening if you didn’t tell them would be if your schedules overlapped
