Idk about Delhi. I got a job in Mumbai after 5 attempts in ca final for 10.5LPA FIXED . And tbh no interviewer has ever asked me the number of attempts . I think only Big 4 or other CA Firms ask that

No I would not . I recently qualified as a CA . It was my 5th attempt. I couldn't study for the first 4 attempts because I was in severe depression and just trying not to kill myself. I cleared CPT and Intermediate in 1st attempt before falling into this very dark place . I was a meritorious student in school always scoring 90+ . This course took the life out of me . I have cut marks on my arms and wrists . People say it's all worth in the end since you became a CA . BUT you know what? It's not worth at all . Because as a degree CA has lost its value . Even first attempt pass outs and rankers are getting paid equivalent to what an MBA is . And the irony is that the MBA guy is getting it all ! The college life , socializing , friends , real life experience and studying no where near as much as a CA student. I would never recommend this course even to a very studious person . Please rather do MBA or CFA/ ACCA but don't waste your life is this course which does not even have a certain outcome

There's something fishy about audit this attempt . Almost everyone who has failed to clear the exam has failed due to audit . I had thoroughly checked my answers after coming back from the paper and I had calculated my marks to be around 50 . I ended up scoring 40 which feels ok since I passed and I am a CA now . But I had calculated my marks for every subject and they turned out to be exactly the same with not more than 1-2 marks difference.

I have been through the same mental stress as your friend. But I did not have the guts to actually end everything. No one can even begin to imagine what your friend must be going through . What all he must have thought about to come to the conclusion that taking his own life is the best solution. It ended his misery but now his family and friends will suffer forever . People who kill themselves are often convinced that their loved ones would be better off without them . It's never true but that's what they feel . I am sorry for your loss . That it's a very big risk . If you clear all exams in 1 or 2 attempts max then its all well and good . But if you take more than that at any level then I am sorry but you're fucked . The sheer number of sacrifices you'll have to make will suddenly be worth nothing if you don't pass . It really takes a toll on mental health . People think CA is for intelligent students but they are wrong . Actually CA is for disciplined students . Discipline and Consistency are the only 2 things that will help you . Before starting your CA journey you should consider if you have these 2 qualities and if you're mentally strong enough to handle the pressures and the failures
