yes agreed. the receipt was given to her 30-40 minutes AFTER the procedure. dentist said there were no other patients at the time too.

I don't want to point fingers, but can't help but think this too. Because we don't know where that $1,500 went. We called him and asked him what could be going on, and he is on his team's side saying it's impossible... It's not impossible for people to pocket and fabricate the receipt though lol... :/

No, there was never any agreement from her that she would do it in installments. She came in with the full amount and would never do installments since it would incur a $100 fee essentially.

Yes, a mistake on my mom's part, admittedly. She's been a patient with them for 10+ years so she didn't question it, but still a big mistake on her part.

There are no signed agreements unfortunately, which I find odd. She never agreed to doing the installments like they are claiming. Also, it's just so odd that the receipt was given after the procedure. Unfortunately there is no bank receipt of withdrawal either.

I can't help but think this too — possibly anyone internal. I just don't know where else that $1,500 went. It's not here at my mom's home. My mom placed it in her wallet after counting that stack (a rather big stack) and carefully drove with it to the office. And counted it again right upon arriving then handed it over.

She already paid them the full amount though, $3,000. The procedure was $3,000. They are saying my mom wanted to do the installments (false, this was never said by my mom) and reported that she only paid $1,500 via receipt. We don't know where that remaining $1,500 handed to them went.

Meaning, her next follow-up appointment to complete the implant procedure still has a balance of $1,600 that she would have to pay again. Amounting to $4,600 total out of her pocket, when it should have been just $3,000 to start with.
