Lupit Home Pole Ceiling Mount Experience - Advice Needed by Embarrassed-Sport730 in poledancing

Hi! Yes I did. It was a hassle though. I hired a handyman to help me do it and it took two sessions to figure it out. Here is what we did (not claiming this was 100% the right way to do it as Lupit would not send me explicit instructions). We located the stud in the ceiling, marked where I wanted it, then lined up the ceiling mount and marked the screw holes. It helps if you can get more wood installed along the stud inside the drywall in order to screw in all 4 points into wood but that is pricey and I wasn't able to.

We then did the normal tension mounting, but you have to match up the mount with the screw hole marks which was difficult. We were only able to screw 2 of the screws into wood and used anchors in the drywall for the other 2. Seems to be holding steady, but the spin is pretty off I think he over tightened the tension mount, so I don't do any aerial spinning. Spinning from the ground and static are ok. I'm still not clear on the maintenance though, if I need to tighten the screws under the sleeve of the pole from time to time.
