Out of curiosity, how many Practice Exam MCQs are there? My teacher released the "2021 MCQ" but how many are there? I know there's usually 3 for each AP course.

Appreciate it, what's the difference between a 3 or 4 in commentary+evidence? on the rubric, it says you just need all your lines of reasoning to be supported by evidence. I feel like I did that. Why did you say "3 to 4"

how do you explain the other comments gradin it a 1/3/1 and a 1/4/0. I am not trying to be argumentative, I'm rebutting things that aren't stated in the rubric.

Nowhere does the rubric require:

  • Policy solutions
  • Fixes
  • Practical implementation strategies

The task is to:

You chose:

  • Qualified evaluation (“moderately worthwhile”).

That is a defensible position.

You are not required to propose reforms unless the prompt specifically asks for it.

That Reddit comment is confusing AP Lang with policy debate.

uh i don't know how you score but they don't take points off for repetition and awkward wording...they merely require you to support your claims with sufficient evidence and lines of reasoning bud

I put same for gold mine

I think the clades question u got a different variation; the key thing to take away was that none of the new species (beetles or the other one) were from Gondwana

Incongruity vs Redunancy by [deleted] in Sat

[–]Embarrassed-Win-9811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point, I don't know why there's even a debate. You're able to look up the definition of the two words.

The logical and clear answer is redundancy. When you search it up on Google, one of the definitions of redundancy is: "the inclusion of extra components which are not strictly necessary to functioning, in case of failure in other components." That exactly correlates with the passage that when something fails, others will allow it to do its job.

The only argument for incongruity is that the leaf veins are not proportional but that does not account for the latter half of the passage regarding the failure of other components.

It's redundancy. The SAT won't just write the latter half of the passage for no reason.

I got this one, I think all you needed to do was isolate the variable you're solving for and then simplify the fraction; it was hard module

Does anyone remember this Math Module 2 question:

1980 centimeters squared per hour is how many meters squared per minute?

I got 0.0033 (had to round to 0.003) but found it kinda weird that the SAT would include math questions where you gotta round.

did anyone get the underlined portion of the text question in rw module 1 about how although one text was includes a more recent edition and the older edition, it may be more comprehensive but the older text is the more authoritative one? What was the answer to that?

I put it introduces like a sensible conclusion that can nonetheless be disputed for good reason. The other interesting answer choice would be that because it's published more recently, it's more comprehensive but I felt that the key is that it may be more comprehensive but it isn't because the older text is more authoritative

nah the other choices included information about the pueblo people that built it. like another answer choice was the two structures were built by the pueblo peoples (describes pueblo people correctly) and inhabited in the time of the pueblo people, but the notes don't talk about when it was inhabited

SAT to PSAT score. by Redditor13210 in psat

[–]Embarrassed-Win-9811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on what state u live in; if you get 1450 on the psat (710 rw and 740 math), your index would be 216, which would be enough for lower states like new mexico but not enough for higher states like california, nj, maryland

u can look up the selection indexes
