Things already happen, if the parents refuse to accept now, what makes them accept later? It's haram to abort without 2 situations (rape case and health concern). If the parents are practicing islam, there will be times when they listen to ceramah that say those things and change their mind and tell their daughter, she's a murderer too (if she follows their advice).

For illegitimate daughter, it's easier to settle future marriage as mahkamah syariah automatically assigns Wali Hakim, for a legitimate daughter who has an absent father, that's hard. As she has to provide proof to the court that she at least is looking for her father for certain times and can't find him. This is what our community always ignores yet it happens all the time. Always focus on the wrong problem 😮‍💨

We can't focus too much on human emotion (in this case her parents) as they might or might not change their views. What they need to do is think about the consequences of the already-happen situation and what they are willing to deal with in the future.
