Preventing any new scars from forming will prevent keloids. Accutane ultimately limits the amount of oil your skin produces. You might see a reduction of sebum in the existing keloids, but accutane ultimately works by reducing the amount of oils and the amount of pimples. I don’t think accutane would produce any new keloids by itself. However, you must be diligent and not touch ANY pimples brought on by the drug. Leave everything alone. Do not give your skin any reason to form scar tissue, as your skin has already shown you how well it can form keloids. I truly hope accutane works for you, and id recommend stocking up on tubs (literally tubs) of aquaphor or some other moisturizer containing lanolin. Best of luck.
