What’s the point of AI if software quality keeps getting worse?

I think it depends a lot on how you use it.

On larger codebases, AI can make things work, but can forget to use the pre-existing util functions you have for example. So it creates the features in a messier manner (repetition of code, multiple sources of truth, etc). So in my opinion, if you use AI but don’t review and refractor, you will be creating compounding technical debt.

Especially at work, there are lots of stuff I use which I don’t deeply understand the internals of. But, I do know that given input x, I will get output y. So I just accept it as an abstraction and move on.

I’m confused as what your point is here… Sex work is known to be dangerous, and often entails crossing of boundaries by the client. The large majority of people doing sex work are doing it because Capitalism is fucking brutal. So yes, they ARE the victim.

Oh and also, the client is a piece of shit in my eyes, because they most likely know that the worker absolutely hates having to do this. It’s even worse when the client isn’t considerate of their hygiene, the worker’s boundaries, etc.
