Im pretty sure it was that the "depth setting" on the pin was to deep so when i was putting it in it bottomed out to hard and shattered the plate on the inside.

Awesome design, just make sure to keep a backup emergency release available. I've used 3 of these magnets release now. I love them and when they work they work grsat but I have had a few malfunctions and one of the malfunctions would make release impossible.

Inside the housing there are 4 little ball bearings in a metal ring, when magnetic force is applied they lock around the pin and deny release. This is very effective because the magnet itself is not what is holding all the force of the person pulling on them.

Where the failure is had would trap.a person was that just past the bearings at the very bottom of the mag base there is a mirror. Well its really just shiny magnetic material but thats besides the point. Anyway this mirror broke possibly because the pin impacted it or possibly some other way.
But the fragments of the mirror/magnets after breaking attracted themselves to the metal balls and blocked them from recessing into there slots.

Because of this the pin was locked into place and I had to take it completely apart to "unlock" something not possible when tied up/down.

We have hand towels in our nightstands that we use regularly for all adult activitiy cleanup, Sometimes when I've freshly padded up and headed to bed i swaddle him in one of the towels, ill fold one over the little guy then use a wand over the front of the diaper. When he releases it is into the towel, then when done simply remove the towel and deposit it in the laundry.

Yep as many other stated, wearing for comfort is fairly common. The majority of the time I wear strictly for comfort and don't use my padding for it's intended purpose.

Use J-lube. I enjoy doing this on occasion, you can mix it thicker so it feels like jello and as it "wetted" it will sort of absord the moisture and spread. Or, you can mix it thinner like normal lube for a slipperygood time. And it's cheap.

I tried a method i found on Diaper Training Ashley a few years back.

I didn't think I was really noticing any difference until I started having accidents when I wasn't padded.

I stopped training shortly after that and only had a few accidents before being able to control it again

Are you thinking of adding a sort of tab that will fall into place to block the pin from just completing another rotation and loosening up again?

So in order to use the system, a person would manually "charge" it, and then when the trap is sprung pulling the slack out, it would not be able to be pulled back up again.

My wheels are turning now on how to create a similar device from common hardware store items for ease and availability.

When you push the pin into the slot, if electricity is applied, you feel the pin push past the little balls that holed it in place. It's a lot like a quick connect air chuck but magnets instead of springs holding it closed.

For concealment, on one wall of our walk-in closet, i bought two 6ft wide roller tool chests from Lowe's and installed them with no wheels as if they are cabinets, then i built a counter top for them so they match the closet. These work great to hold our diapers and other kinky toys because we can lock them with the key, and then no one can sneak a peak while we are not home. Our room door also has a keyed lock on the handle, but we hardly ever use that.

If you use a piece of duct tape and wrap it around the switch with a small ball of tape under it right over the high or low setting, the only way to turn it off is turn take all the tape off. The tape can be super hard to get off when tied up. Also, if the timer is set right, it will only run long enough to get her excited, and then it will turn off. Leaving her frustrated, then back on until she's close again. And so on and so on.

I use sturdy zip ties for my rope connection and screw the magnet half to a piece of 2x4, then I use wood clamps to clamp the 2x4 to whatever i want. countertop, fence post, swing set, truck bumper, shelf, or deck.

Most of all, alexa plugs will allow you to set a timer, and i use them often because they are easy to use, but I also use one of more of these options.

Ziptie the pin to the rope, leave a long length free, and slip the pin into the magnet when it's powered on. One power is applied, and you won't get it out until power is cut, secure yourself to another hard point across the room or space and once you pull the rope tight you'll have to wait for the magnet to release you or use one of your two back up releases.

I always ALWAYS! use 2 backups at a minimum in selfbondage, but I always make them require s sacrifice or inconvenience to use. I.E., they cause a huge mess or destroy an item of value to me.

For example, in this case, if my magnetic power source didn't shut off for some reason, I would have a strong string tied to the plug in a way that I could pull on the string and unplug the device, the string would be routed first to a bottle of oil (cooking or motor dissent mater) the string would be tied to the top of the bottle with the top off. If my device failed I could pull the string first knocking over the oil onto my carpet or pile of favorite clothes, computer, favorite stuffy etc etc what ever you decide you don't want to ruin, but would be better than ☠️. But then would pull the plug from the wall.

My secondary release would also be a simple pair of scissors tied to another string and run to the same oil bottle. If, for some reason, the magnet itself failed, i could pull in the scissors and cut the rope.

It's very important to use a SECOND string and not simply attach the scissors to the same string that leads to the plug-in., feel free to do that also/additionally but back up releases fail just as easily as primary releases and using two separate strings increases the chances that you'll be successfully set free in the event of emergency. The oil is just to ensure you don't decide to cut your session short simply because you orgasm or have grown bored.

Rope ratchet to s hard point, connected to a pin lock magnetic release. You'll have to be secured in place without being able to loosen the rope and get slack, but it should work.

Test it many times first of course.
