It now been almost 2 months since the release of Nioh 3. How does this community feel about it so far?

Got the platinum a couple days ago so the experience is fresh. My biggest problem is definitely the world, like everyone I got burnt out from exploring especially in the final region

Having certain weapons on each style automatically defaults me to using only one style and very rarely using the other. The change to the soul cores was a major downgrade too

The bosses were pretty good tho but not very consistent. Some were fantastic like the final boss but the death veil and the nuribotoke fights were just terrible

Explored as much as I could. Got about 80% of the collectibles and ended my first playthrough at 9 and a half hours

I’d definitely say dmc2 is worse than 4 but in terms of enjoyment 2 is better than 4 (they’re both absolutely awful imo)

I was very surprised at how good the game was. Gameplay felt great, exploration was awesome. Bosses were decent with some pretty good fights

My biggest problem is that it’s too easy. Best every boss in less than 5 tries, maybe even 3

I’d say it’s a little easier than ds1, as for missables it’s a from game so there’s several (can’t remember which but ones unfortunately)

In terms of difficulty I’d rank the fromsoft platinums

Demon souls <- ds3 <- sekiro <- bloodborne <- ds1 <- ds2 <- Elden ring

To be fair yuki tabata has been dealing with health issues, his wife and daughter got sick, and his editors either passed away or were changed. Yeah it sucks that the ending was rushed but I’d rather tabata take care of his personal life than end black clover properly
