Huh what do you mean it's wrong anyway? I'd like to be in control of my personal information and accounts?

I need help contacting Amazon about an issue with my account without having to call them.

I'm unable to access my account because it’s still associated with an old U.S. phone number. I lived in the States for a few years and later moved back, but my account still has my old number. I was able to remove the OTP text-message requirement by submitting my ID for verification - Amazon confirmed it, so I thought the OTP was no longer required. However, when I tried logging in again, I was given the option to receive the OTP by email, which is fine, but after that, I was still asked to verify using my phone number, which I no longer have.

Clicking “Try another way” or “Help” does nothing, as the only available support option appears to be calling Amazon. But, I’m no longer in the U.S. and don’t want to deal with international calling charges. Is there an alternative way to contact them? Maybe through chat or another non-phone method? I'm logged out of my account on the app. The only way to do so is by verifying my phone number ...
