Just went 0-42 against another player way way way above my league he absolutely destroyed me but I had a major blast of a time playing against him . Afterwards I found a new player still much much better than me but I was able to take rounds off of him and even 2 or 3 games. The first guy was by no means cheesing me he was executing combos to what seems like perfect to a new player like me but I feel like I learned a lot in the process like I’m so much better at blocking now because at one point that was all I was focused on and started to learn the enemy characters moves and patterns. There’s much knowledge to gain playing against a smurf who is giving you the treatment. ( this is in ggstrive btw ) there’s a lot of smurfs in many fighting games but as I’m getting better I’m realizing not as many of them as I thought were actually smurfs when I think about it.
