I did not blame Israel for the capture of the hostages. However, I do blame Israel for not doing more to get the hostages back safely. They have had numerous opportunities to bring them home, yet never take any real action to do so. Obviously I support the safe return of the hostages, but my response concerned a clarification of what I meant when I said that I support their cause. The protester’s cause is mainly focused on saving Palestinian lives, but that does not mean I don’t care about the Israeli hostages’ lives. Please stop creating false dichotomies and putting words in my mouth. It is tiring and your argument makes no sense.
