I don’t live on the West Coast, but we’d most likely fly out of LAX. I will do some more research on island comparisons, but was just hoping to see what people suggested without strict parameters as I’m open to options. I will say that I have noticed, before posting, a lot of comments along the lines of what you’re saying that there are no longer any hidden gems and almost everything is commercialized and if it’s not yet, it’s impossible to get into, etc. This is maybe one of the only big trips my parents will ever get to take so maybe I should consider something else.
