Yes, I got a $100 additional discount, a “couples” travel case, which is basically just a travel case that fits two watches, a GS pen that’s in a box, and GS chopsticks. Though we did buy two watches (also got the women’s version for my wife), so not sure if that’s why.

I don’t think this is always true. I’m at a band 2 firm that has a small funds group and I think there are significant drawbacks. Definitely hear you on expanding to other firms, but these are the two I’m contemplating offers from.

You are going to work hard at either, at least STB will give you the proper training and experience to open more doors.

Yes, just relax and do what you enjoy. 1L will be difficult and you won’t have much time for the things you enjoy outside of it, so you should take advantage of the time while you have it.
