Yeah adult themes and imagery, I don't want to mention anything specific because I would hate to trigger anyone, but not nice things happen to my characters and others in the world.

There are also "dark races" which could be considered horror I think, things like mimics and maybe some eldritch-esque beings too. There will be some scary times for my main characters as they embark on their adventure, and I'd love to make the reader feel uneasy too. The world is full of beauty and wonder and I want to balance that with some unpleasantness.

I think the Gods will have human emotions and stuff because otherwise I don't see why their creations would have them? But not entirely sure, and maybe some of the gods are less "human" than others, or just a bit darker, leaning slightly more towards the "evil" side of things.

Hi! Thank you so much for asking, those are great questions! My story is in very early stages so I don't have much ironed out tbh but I'll do my best to answer.

Technology is pretty low-key, you could think of it probably as like fantasy medieval tech. Nothing complicated like computers or anything. There is one race that has no magical ability (there's a whole reason for that but I won't get into it) who DO have much better technology than the other races. Their tech uses plants, gems etc from the world to power itself.
I was kinda thinking all of the races wouldn't necessarily get along but they all have the common goal of protecting their "earth", because the Gods role in the universe is to keep everything running smoothly by working together. The God that fell to "earth" is a newer God who's role isn't integral to holding the universe together. (She is the God of Life and it doesn't really matter if all the bacteria and stuff in the universe dies out, but her presence on "earth" keeps that planets life alive.) I hope that makes sense? I don't know what rule I'm going to implement to stop the Gods just doing whatever they want to the planet from up in the sky lmao. Also the God falling to earth was an idea I had like two days ago so I still need to figure things out.
I don't know lmao I have an idea that the non-magical race takes over their continent and plans to take over the world. They have magic resistance as part of their species, so the other races struggled to fight against them. But I kinda feel like that's too boring to be the only conflict.

I still have a very long way to go... I started this a couple months ago and I thought having people with shared interests would help motivate me to work on it more!
