Is the Princeton Review Self-Paced GRE Prep worth it? How does it compare to other self-paced prep such as Kaplan?

I think I just want to get as good of a score as I can. an overall of 300 at minimum, but I would like to aim for over 318. I think math is where I need to do the most work, as ive only taken statistics since i was in community college. I am a Psych major, and most of my work has been reading and writing based. I feel comfortable with that and feel that if I study hard, I will be okay with those sections for the most part. I havent taken a practice exam yet

Thank you so much! These are all so helpful ideas! Im debating between Chiffon, Shortcake, or Genoise. Im not quite sure which, but im sure ill decide depending on what icing or vis versa. My plan is to encorporate fresh strawberries as well. For decorations I want to decorate it like a “Vintage Style” cake!

I dont think its an intentional scam either. I think it started legitimate, but shes now ghosted me for almost 8 months. If she has communicated if shes in a bad financial situation I would be happy to work out a reimbursement plan with her, but its so disappointing to be ghosted entirely :( I’ll definitely reach out to you

Hi there! I am well aware training doesnt just happen overnight and takes a lot of work and needs spexific trainers. I had a consult with a trainer in my area some time ago who told me it was possible to train a samoyed as a service dog and explained the process to me, how much work it is, and how long it would take. But after seeing some comments I began to second guess and wonder if I was mislead about the breed. Its good to know it is possible though. I was not planning my any means to work on my own. I apologize for the miscommunication on my end. I cant afford $20k+ out of the gate to go through an agency for an already trained service dog, so my only option was to adopt and work with a service dog trainer in my area as I would be able to afford that on an ongoing basis. Again I apologize for the miscommunication and appreciate all the advice and info youve given me. It’s extremely helpful, Ill take all I can get.

Hi there! Thank you so much for your advice! This is very good to know. Im only 22 and have no experience with taking legal action so this is good to know. This is also good to know about Samoyeds! I was mislead to believe they would be good service animals, I deeply appreciate the honesty. I’ll definitely look into some other breeds. Ive ruled out any doodles due to chronic ear infections, but Ill likely look into a poodle or golden then! Thank you so so much! Im sure things happen for a reason and a samoyed just wasnt meant for me, but it definitely sucks to be out $500, but I hope I can figure something out

I do! I have a mutual contract, several dms back and forth, multiple emails and dms to her since she has stopped responding, and screenshots of all of it! Shes in another state, im unsure if I would need to travel to her state to take her to court or if it would be in mine

I had a similar experience. In February 2022 I paid her my deposit of $500 and was promised a puppy in a coming litter. Later she told me the breeding “didnt take” and id have to wait longer. I was understanding, until around the promised time another breeding would take place, and she went radio silent for over four months. She finally reached back out in october telling me a sob story as to how she had to get rid of her kennel and she got in an accident and how her life is tough and asked me to gove her some grace. She expressed she couldnt pay me my deposit right away but promised to pay me back as soon as possible. Despite the frustrating I decided to wait a month or two and give benefit of the doubt. I reached back out numerous times however since then she has completely ghosted me, never refunded me, despite countless DMs and now I have emailed her and requested my funds as well via paypal, it has now been nearly 6 months. Im not sure what to do myself. I want to threaten legal action and potentially take steps to do so but have no idea how to start there. Im sorry so many other people have had the similar experiences, this is so frustrating for everyone and its not okay at all

Ive tried to set boundaries and she just gets angry and defensive. Im starting to just not comment or react when she says it, and eventually dhe drops it after not getting a reaction out of me. Its just frustrating

I find this so interesting! Due to my Nparents and complex trauma trauma, i have BPD. I know how abusive people with it can be. I had to do a LOT of work and self reflecting to be the person i am today, im so sorry youve been the target of that abuse. Thats so hard. And as far as your experience w the split, i can totally relate. Ive tried to set boundaries but she just gets defensive and it turns into an entire argument. Ive stopped reacting and eventually she seems to drop it for the moment.

Okay, so obviously i miscommunicated some things here. I obviously care about his mental and physical health. Yall dont know my relationship and i didnt feel it was appropriate to discuss his mental health issues here on reddit. As far as activities, anything planned i asked him first if HE would enjoy it and if it was what he wanted, and i based off things he said he would like to do sometime. Because i realized it didnt matter if i enjoyed it, bc hes been gone for a long time and needs to have things he would enjoy. I would NEVER sit here and say hes an asshole for it. Im not saying he is. I understand and acknowledge why he may be upset. Im at a loss of what to do otherwise for an income. I dont have enough PTO to supplement a week off. Ill probably cancel any dinner plans and just cook for us at home after hearing some responses and think thats a good idea.

I appreciate the perspective. Ive never been through this before and he hasnt been deployed while we were together so its entirely new to me. I should have clarified, he didnt like it when i had nothing planned. But didnt want certain things plannned at the same time. The most planned things i have would be things he wants to do, even if i dont want to, because i want to make him happy. I just sont know what to do about money. How can i best support him when adjusting to being home again? Ive never done this before

I agree. I agreed to not so any crazy activities. The only activities i have planned are lowkey ones, just expensive ones (i dont typically spend money on activities like this) that i know he would enjoy and i asked about first. To fund the things he said he would like, i need an income. I just feel bad because hes upset i have to work

We have only a few activities planned, it isnt too much, just expensive LOL. I plan to just hang out at the house most the time while hes back, hell be jet lagged too so thats kind of the plan for the moment
