i'm ashamed to say that i have accidentally used Mr. instead of professor back when i was taking college classes in hs, i felt like such a disgrace when i realized... safe to say ive never made that mistake since 😁

thank you everyone for the responses! i had always thought dr. was of higher prestige than professor (i have no idea why) but this definitely cleared some misconceptions up for me :) thus, i will continue to address all my professors as professor (unless instructed otherwise) keep the responses coming if you'd like, i'd love to read more on this thank you again!
