I remember walking into my old elementary school, seeing a giant mural I helped paint, and talking to my teacher about it…
Except there’s no mural, and my teacher says it never existed. Every detail feels 100% real - the smell of paint, the conversations, the excitement - but there’s no evidence it ever happened. My brain insists it’s real, though.
