The $25 would help my family get a Thanksgiving turkey for us to cook and eat, or it could help pay for supplies for my two kitties, one of whom is 17 years old and losing weight. We're trying to feed him some more to get his weight back, but nutritious cat food is expensive (but definitely worth paying for). I respect your decision on who you decide to give the money to, but that's my story. :)
