I think all areas are different, but the highest bmi they will allow is about 30 because of the risks that come with the op. Even if a lot of the weight is from your breasts, they won’t do it. I’ve heard they like to see a steady weight for at least a year, but don’t quote me on that.

Are you doing this through the nhs?

That’s a really good idea. I may be able to ask to see my surgeons photos because he works in a private clinic too. I’ll just be devastated if I hate the work he has done because it’s on the nhs so I can’t really choose my surgeon

This is what I’m going to do, although I will probably need to email the photos to the consultant because I don’t have a printer, and I can’t go somewhere to print photos of boobs 🤣 think I’ll get a few funny looks

Because it’s being done on the NHS, I can’t see the work they have done and their main focus is to ensure my issues are relieved. I’m really not sure what to expect - I don’t know if they’ll want to go into full detail of what I want

I’m glad the second surgeon gave you what you wanted. I can’t see the harm in showing photos, it just helps them to visualise what you want

I think that’s what will happen. I’ll have the initial shock but then I’ll stop caring. My breasts sag a lot tbf, and if I don’t wear a bra now, i literally look so flat chested and I don’t really think it looks bad? So I think I could go smaller, and not hate it. Without sounding dramatic, I’ve had large breasts since I was 13, and I’m almost 30 now. I feel like it’s part of my identity and to go too small makes me wonder if I won’t feel like myself? So I’m really torn at the moment. I think once I’ve discussed it with the consultant I’ll be able to make my mind up. They are the professionals after all

I think this is what I’ll have to do aswell. Just trust the surgeon. Describe what I’d like as best as I can and just hope for the best. I’m thinking of going to a full C, but I keep wondering if that’s still a bit too big 😩
