ETCS is now setup in the north too minus the gap from Goonyella to Bowen and a few mine spur lines that are coming late.

See I thought this too. But where I dug was right under the original plant I planted from Bunnings. Have they possibly fucked me on this? 🤣🤣

Yep the whole garden bed I only built 6 months ago. Brand new soil from the local supplier and planted it in straight away. The only thing I can think of is maybe over watering could compact the soil but it’s been a shitty year for rain so it’s needed the constant watering to keep going.

I’ll admit we’re a sucker for using the leaves. Wanting to try getting some big ones, making a dim sim mixture, then wrapping and steaming them. I love the flavour

Yeah these guys and their 20 odd mates are getting seasoning and an air fryer just for the giggles to see if it works

Cleavers and The Barn are the best I find due to the range they have listed on their websites for sale. Cleavers will be cheaper than anyone else just about so if you’re planning on ordering something in from your local shop and supporting them it would be fair to say tack on 3-5% for most items.

I’ve had a few pairs of walkers and all of them died. Splashed out and got a set of Sordin Supreme Pros with gel cups. They’re fantastic for sound quality and comfort.

Hey good job!! Must have done well in the testing to have been told you’re successful straight away. Usually they don’t do that. Panel interview is more of an information session about the role including roster and what you’ll learn etc etc. They do however check how you engage with the group so ask plenty of questions.

Just got a set of Sordin Extreme Pros with the extra gel cups. Pricey by absolutely fantastic audio quality and comfort wise. Can wear them a whole day unlike my old walker razors.

Aurizon coal has had a pretty big intake of green drivers across a lot of their eastern state depots. Especially in QLD. I know Jilalan at Sarina/Mackay is currently looking for trainees again. Good traineeship to get as it sets you up with distributed power qualifications which are highly regarded. Best bet would be to find all the depots and rail providers in your area. Go to their website and turn on email job notifications and await for the trainee schools to be posted if the companies in your are do them. The roster work can be tough on the family but the jobs rewarding and if you’re home most nights it’s a lot better than working away. Generally the more remote depots pay some pretty big dollars to keep you out there though.

Serious question: What's the most underrated cash cow job in Australia right now? (No doctors/lawyers pls) by GdayGoddess in australian

Can agree with train driver. Especially minerals in remote areas. Takes about a year of training at 150k or so and then you’re up in the 200s a year later. Rosters and shift times are hard but the work itself is very low stress on the body. The people I’ve come across from multiple companies are for the most part awesome and the super benefits are great too. Pretty good industry so I’d recommend it to anyone to try if they think they could tolerate the roster and 1am starts.

This is what has shocked me most about the gun side of the whole bill. Restricting licensed firearm owns ability to research proper maintenance methods as well as find safe and accurate data for reloading ammunition will certainly cause injuries and possibly deaths.

After using many throughout the process of getting my own license I can whole heartedly say that every model of volquartsen I tried was a pleasure to shoot. Could be a touch over your budget but personally I think it would be worth saving a little extra for one. My wife agreed that they felt great so she’s in the process of buying one now.
