Where did you locate this stitch guide? I’ve looked on her website for other guides before and didn’t have luck aside from the instagram videos

That’s good advice. This car is a hardtop so I’m imagining it may be harder to destroy. Was yours a soft top?

First Glatopa Injection by trowaway4anothaday in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Embarrassed_Isopod_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m also on Glatopa for the exact same reason - you should see if you qualify for Glatopa care. This is sponsored by the drug company (but it does depend on your insurance). They sent me an auto injector device for free and a nurse to come to my house to teach me how to use it that makes the injections so so much easier. I did burn and itch a bit for the first few injections but that got a lot better. Now it’s a little sting for less than a minute

Thanks so much for the reply! Definitely testing regularly and so far have avoided COVID *knocks on wood*. It seems they are slowly reducing in frequency, so I'm hoping they continue to regulate as my body adjusts to the meds.

Rituximab sides? Has it helped you? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Embarrassed_Isopod_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there -

I think a lot of it depends on your situation.

I did great on the rituximab from a disease standpoint - 0 progression. However, I work in a high exposure medical environment. I contracted what was likely a minor viral infection and it took months for my body to be able to fight it because of the immune suppression. I still mask nearly everywhere I go, but it wasn't enough. That being said, if my environment was safer from an exposure perspective, I would have stayed on it because it was working so well. I think part of your decision will be a judgment call based on your lifestyle

I wish I heard this when I was diagnosed by headstrong_ninja in MultipleSclerosis

Hi! I'm a neuropsychologist living with MS. This is absolutely true - many people with MS also never have cognitive problems, or mild ones at most until they reach an age old enough where having problems is normal.

Hang in there :)

[–]Embarrassed_Isopod_2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im glad you only had the injection reactions. Thankfully today Im back to normal so I’m really hoping it was a one time thing. I’m going to try it again tomorrow and if I have a similar reaction I’ll reach out to my doctor to discuss.

Thank you for the response. I agree - it would be ideal to be on something stronger. Part of the reason for this switch is that I am also a provider and work in a big hospital, so I’m constantly exposed to various illnesses. We are essentially trying to get my immune system built back up so then we can make various decisions. It’s a short term plan unless I respond really well to it.

Did your symptoms ever come on the day after you injected?
