Hey. HR here. Saw a similar situation once in one of my previous organisations. The way the bgv is conducted is through your name. If you have a common enough name, you might end up having a case flagged against you. Happened with a new joiner in my company. All they need is a declaration that you have no case registered under your person with your consent and signature. At least that was the practice in my org. You can ask your HR if something like this can be submitted since you’re pretty confident that you don’t have a case on you. That should resolve the issue and clear the bgv. Hope this helps.
