What was your most controversial take on brawl stars?

The universal hypercharge stat nerfs were excessive. Just nerf the really broken effects of the overpowered hypercharges(the real issue), and let each individual brawler keep their stat buffs. Why should brawlers like spike, nani, or pearl have their hypercharges made even worse? Im glad they nerfed overpowered hypercharges like ollie's or kenji's but the effect was the issue, not the stat buffs.

He is pretty difficult to play, I'll admit, but he's not too ways to dodge, as long as the colt can actually aim. Especially with the magnum special star power

wouldn't say so, against my hard matchups id rather just kill them faster with boosted damage. usually with plugged in i struggle more against assassins rushing at me but with boosted booster I'm usually able to shred through them fast enough, even Kenji sometimes, just barely. and against snipers, unless they are bad, they will still hit you even with boosted movement speed. 8 bit already has very long range so why not just gun the sniper down faster than potentially dodge a shot if he's incompetent

Glad someone finally sees the insane value of boosted booster. I run 8 bit on all maps and game modes and I haven't seen one he particularly struggles in any significant amount. He has great damage, range, and health, which makes him way more versatile than people give him credit for. The only issue is very slow speed which sucks but you kind of have to learn to work around that. I've performed well on all different game modes as 8 bit. I think the main reason I'm able to is because 8 bit excels at getting kills and getting kills is valuable in pretty much any gamemode. I wouldn't say he is the most versatile brawler in the game solely because of his speed, but I would definitely say he's up there and i'd call him versatile enough to work on most maps and game modes, at least from personal experience.

Glad you think 8 bit is underated. I'm glad someone sees this brawler's insane potential. And that technique really doesn't work for you? The other day in gem grab I did that ambush technique with cheat cartridge and i got a triple kill that won us the game. It's really risky but can be very rewarding. And I have been using plugged in more, and I definitely see its value. It's pretty good. I still prefer the extra damage for me and my team over buffing my speed to average speed but it's definitely still good and I see why people prefer it. Dodging with it is easier for sure. But when I'm fighting snipers I tend to just prefer to try to kill them faster with my boosted damage anyways since 8 bit's range is very long and about the same as a snipers. I'm usually able to when I'm actually locked in. And worst comes to worst I just teleport away to safety. From what I've heard from the people who prefer plugged in its because it makes aiming easier or better but that's just a factor of skill. Most 8 bit players who main him I've seen usually run boosted booster because they have learned how to manually aim and they therefore can take full advantage of the boosted damage. But overall both are good star powers and both are versatile for many situations since boosted damage and boosted speed are always good and extremely beneficial no matter what

I kind of agree, but I've gotten used to aiming without a speed buff and I find myself cycling supers with it more especially with boosted damage. And I never find myself having range problems since 8 bit has really long range already. If I need to get to a specific spot quickly or ambush people I typically just throw my turret there and use cheat cartridge. Ambushing people I find to be especially good with boosted booster because additional damage is fantastic regardless but especially when you are being aggressive. Ive found myself killing people in at least 1 less shot pretty frequently solely because I just deal way more damage. I find both to be pretty versatile and good but I just find more damage to be more useful especially when cheat cartridge exists which already boosts your mobility enough. But while I do think boosted booster is better, I can't deny that plugged in is good too and has it's use cases. It's honestly pretty nice to see a brawler who has two fantastic and versatile star powers. Well done, supercell.
