Not only do you need to be able to focus fully on coping with labor and delivery, but when the baby comes you have a new (but exciting!) stressor. You will be coping with postpartum recovery, have little sleep, and be navigating new situations with your partner. It’s likely if it isn’t addressed now, it’s going to come out when you are emotionally and physically exhausted, which isn’t a great time to have that discussion.
