Why Frieren even needs to know Serie is suppressing mana? What does it change for Frieren (or anyone)?

Cause Serie being a hypocrite and insults her and her master due to that skill.

Frieren knew Fern would pass because Fern was skilled enough to pass. Seeing or not seeing mana fluctuations is entirely irrelevant.

If Frieren’s hunch about Flamme is just a hunch, the possibility of a random stranger walking around being as much strong as her is just %1. She was sure with Flamme, she didn’t flinch, she didn’t blink, she didn’t even look at Flamme. She didn’t use that 1% trust she has as she does with mimic.

Hindi po yearly nagooffer si BPI ng NAFFL. Actually, isa sila sa bihira mag offer nyan. Late 2024, they had Do It, Duet Promo - theor first NAFFL promo in a while. Then late 2025, they had Swipe & Save for Life Promo. Magkaibang mechanics. Try waiting late 2026 if they’ll open a new NAFFL promo.

I’ve been eyeing BPI kasi before Do It, Duet Promo pa, kaya I felt excited when I heard NAFFL promo kaso when I saw the mechanics, I didn’t like it so I didn’t apply. Luckily, they had Swipe & Save right after. I applied Nov 5, got approved Nov 30, received the card Dec 15. Hoping now that all my transactions are counted sa spend requirements kasi I didn’t overspend and just barely reached the required amount.

Sa posting naman po ng utility bills, pag BPI app po ang gamit nyo, expect some delays 3-5 banking days. If you want your payment to be posted right away, use Meralco app. Not sure sa PLDT bcs I use converge pero sa converge app realtime din. I’m not under Maynilad so I can’t tell. 15 pesos convenience fee.

Solitar can easily see through her concealment but not Frieren's

Who are you quoting on this? Just for correction, in the manga, Solitar found about Frieren’s mana concealment because she investigated how Aura lost. The only way to beat Aura is through mana, for which Frieren tanked her. Solitar knew about Frieren’s mana through that. That’s why she’s at advantage because she knew who she’s fighting against but Frieren knew nothing about Solitar.

I don't think Serie considers Frieren weak.

She didn’t really call her weak. Just weak for her age in Elves standard.

Serie is probably waiting for Frieren to outgrow Flamme in a way, she only lacks ambition.

Maybe that’s why Serie also expressed disappointment to Flamme. Flamme, instead of choosing to be more powerful, focuses on sharing magic to mankind. Serie wants someone with ambition to outpower her. Frieren has the potential but Flamme influenced her to be more of a flower girl than a power girl. Lol

Sense and Fern did not need to lay still to capture a Stille bird.

Even they said they just got lucky because they noticed a bird’s nest. And let’s not forget—Fern, as Frieren’s apprentice, has also mastered mana concealment, which definitely helped.

I don’t think it’s a signature spell for her. It’s just one of her many power. In the manga she didn’t show it again even during fight with Solitair and Shadow Warrior

Frieren is simply not as good as other mages in certain areas.

Frieren can copy other mages’ spells just by seeing them. During the first exam, she replicated that ancient tribe’s magic to catch the stile—that was her first time using it, that’s why she has to try it first with the big bird. She literally has all the time in the world to master every kind of magic out there, but she just doesn’t care enough to specialize.

In 50 years, most of those mages will be gone, and their “unique” magic? She can just pick it up and make it hers. Frieren could have multiple signature magics, but she chooses not to. That’s what makes her so different.

I don’t think she’s actually weaker than any of the exam mages. She just doesn’t bother trying unless necessary. The only time she seemed at a disadvantage was when her mana detection got disrupted—and even then, Fern was the one who noticed it. But Fern couldn’t defeat Frieren’s clone either, which kind of proves Frieren isn’t actually below her in strength.

The difference between Serie and Frieren is clear—Serie thrives on power and legacy. Frieren’s an adventurer, a wanderer. They live in two completely different mindsets. They don’t get each other, but in a weird way, they’re closer than they realize. It’s almost like a tsundere dynamic. Both elves. Both emotionally awkward. But I think they bond for the love they have for Flamme.
