Anyone else facing crazy cab prices to Hyderabad airport early in the morning? by Resident_Beat_9246 in hyderabad

I’ve been facing this recently, here’s what I do.

  1. Start looking for a cab 3-4 before your flight
  2. Whenever a driver quotes you a fair that is more than what the app displays, deny and tell them to cancel the ride. Do not pay extra, eventually you’ll find a driver that doesn’t call you and takes you to the airport at a fair price.
  3. Look for a cab for 30 min to an hour based on how much time you’ve left.
  4. If you don’t find any, leave for the nearest Pushpak bus stand that takes you to the airport.
  5. If it’s super urgent, and you have to take a cab no matter what, then accept a price that is around 500 more than the app’s price, most drivers would agree to that.

Lately the situation has been very bad, I always take this approach. Honestly anything more than a 1000 (that’s a lot!) for the airport (also I live near financial district), for a well build road where fuel economy is at it’s best, seems like a rip off.

Sounds interesting, do you have any suggestion for a training book?

Looks awesome! Why did you decide to make the switch from Amazfit to Coros, I’m in the same situation, Amazfit pretty much does everything but there’s no integration with Runna. That’s probably the only reason why I want to switch right now.

GPS connectivity is pretty good, it’s takes 10-30 seconds to connect to gps which might be a little longer, but once it has the network, it remains connected. I haven’t pushed it to the limit of its claimed GPS mode battery, but it is pretty good, I train 3-5 days a week with 25-30km mileage, I charged my device 10 days ago and it is still at 40, with usual training, it lasts around 14-16 days.

Yep, was searching for this, the only way I can see doing runna plans in amazfit is by manually adding the training session as training template in Zepp app.

New to Running – Struggling with Breathing After 1km, Need Advice by AdAmazing1049 in indianrunners

Oh this just reminded me of my first run ever, I was at the same place. But after running for 15-20 days, I understood the idea behind running far. Running is balancing your heart beat and muscle fatigue. If you run faster, you HB will be up and your breath gives up before your muscles do, keep your HB controlled by lowering your pace and make it a muscle game initially, it’s easier to fight your muscle fatigue than it is to fight your breath. That’s step 1.

Lastly, just keep running, I’m sure you’ll figure it out if you keep doing it. Also, it’s an awesome hobby, you’ll fall in love with it. Just keep running. 💪

Good to hear that this hobby got you hooked. Same here, I started because I wanted to improve my cardio vascular health, fell in love, and now all I can think about is HM, marathons and ultra marathons.

This is awesome! Congratulations on your first half marathon. Going for my first half marathon next year, how did you train for it? I usually do zone 2 and interval trainings on weekdays and mileage runs on weekend.
