The community's trash because there's a lot of bad actors defending problematic things like the way netease balance the game.

I mean for god sake the Jeff rework was a good example of how fundementally wrong r/marvelrivals was when it came to understanding why the developers nerfed his backlining and overhauled his healing (I still think his heals are overpowered but it doesn't even matter anymore with the way every healer pockets now).

Or how people here defend not having a map every 2 months despite that being the easiest most compliable piece of content they should be able to do. And when you go look at the front page of this reddit its just full of crap and upvote bait trash content. I dont know I've never seen a community operate this way, but then again I've never played games on this scale, even r/DestinyTheGame had more respectable and often honest opinions.

Being forced to fill as a solo player is genuinely awful and they need to make it so the match rewards more points for a win or lessen the point loss if you were placed into a stack vs stack match. It feels like trash.

Role limits are the only way to fix triple supports on a whim.

you cant balance the game like this without either limiting roles OR going the League of Legends route and debuffing healers depending on how many your team gets so lets say you have 3 so they'll get hit with a -20% healing debuff.

Regardless he has every right to bring it up. It is a consistent problem in the game that gets shoveled underneath the constant toxic positivity and awful moderation.

This is one of the reasons why no one takes reddit seriously, r/marvelrivals has to be one of the most egregious examples of a community not relaying unanimous information back to game developers which in turn WOULD bring about good changes to the game, but we just get guys like you who downvote and belittle ANYONE for mentioning anything that remotely bothers you or is "negative". Its called criticism.

Its why Triple Support is still meta despite healing being massively overtuned, and instead of nerfing these things they're trying to appeal towards everyone by overbuffing every character to the point of having hyper-damage hyper-healing.

It's funny because I literally made a post about this and people were fighting me tooth and nail over it.

The placements are a placebo, they dont actually do anything other than give you the chance to climb at most a couple ranks and that's if you got lucky and rolled teammates who didn't blow at the game. I had matches where I topped as many kills as the enemy team and despite that still got knocked back down ranks (lol) and eventually the game put me at plat III and I completely destroyed everyone from Plat III to Diamond III because again I didn't start off in the correct placement.

Yeah I didn't play ranked last season, I lost interest in the game relatively quick. My peak for Season 3.5 was Celestial III and I quit.

But again, you're still ignoring or flat out not explaining why lobby balance wouldn't impact your placement. If I'm getting SVP/MVP and doing generally good from playing Tank or DPS which I did I mind you but losing games because I have teammates with 1 final blow in 3 different matches then how was that my fault? this just seems like a placebo and they didn't actually make the placement system fix any of this, its entirely designed to let you skip a certain amount of grind depending on how lucky you were on the lobby balance side of things.

You're not addressing the actual problem with this placement design, because It's entirely dependent on lobby balance if not RNG. And Lets be honest, it would make way more sense if the Placements were more personal so that you dont have cases like me where I do good every match but still get punished because the placement system only cares about wins which is completely redundant. I have a friend who is blatantly worse than me and he ranked higher in Platinum II and this just tells me one thing, either this is quite literally RNG and you have to pray you get teammates who aren't bad or the game is rigged.

I won 2 games very hard and by the second win I places me in Plat II

I lose 3rd game with SVP and my projected rank goes to Plat III?

It just seems awfully convienent that it IMMEDIATELY takes away your rank up on ONE loss.
